Yes. You can use this eye shadow primer with both liquid and powder shadows. I would apply this primer first, allow it to dry or blend it in your skin before applying your shadow.

Q: What's the difference between the essential and the lock primers?

dont really know I dont see any real change usually, the shadow stays longer but its not that great either

Q: does this work for oily skin?

I have pretty oily eyelids, in my opinion it worked pretty well. For the price, it's worth a try.

Q: Is there only one color ?

As far as I know, it comes in pearl, sheer, champagne and golden
