Good stuff IF.....
It is not a miracle product. If that is what you are looking for, look some where else. For it to work, you need to find what "mix" works for you. I don't always mix it with milk. I use low sugar kids juice to mix it and add fruit (no sugars, frozen) to it sometimes. I use 0% fat milk with one flavor packet for 2 cups of milk. I know someone who uses Sunny D to mix it because that is the way she likes it best. So find what tastes best for you. Using chocolate unsweetened cocoa works and so will the chocolate syrup, but the syrup has more fat and calories so watch out for that when mixing for weight loss. Does it work for weight loss?!? Yes, IF you watch how you mix it calorie and fat wise. I don't use anything except the shake mix in Visalus. I don't use the pills, energy drink, or other products. I lost 10 pounds in about 2 weeks. I also exercise, but not rigorously. 30 minutes a few times a week will work, but get that heart rate up above your sitting rate. Try 10 minutes a couple of times a day or whatever works for you to maintain some kind of movement. Do leg lifts when sitting still or take a walk for "fun." Don't park in the closest parking spot when going shopping and take the stairs instead of the elevator. Does it curb your appetite or make you "full?!? Not at first, but it starts to after your stomach shrinks to the correct portion size because let's face it, if you need it for weight loss, you have stretched your stomach to fit your food intake. I love the taste of the shakes the way I mix them, but others may not. Try it and find what works for you. If it works, stick with it and you will loose weight. It will not happen over night because you didn't gain the weight overnight either! Eat apples, bananas, or 100 calorie snack packs for a snack. Don't starve yourself. Eat a sensible dinner. Tract your intake with a calorie/fat counting app to open your eyes to your daily intake. My friend doesn't do the shakes on the weekend and she has lost 30 pounds in about 4 months, but she does exercise about an hour 5 days a week. Your weight loss will depend on you, your commitment to loosing weight, and changing your unhealthy habits to healthier ones. Try it. Go for it. And don't give up. 😃

Highly Recommended.
Been using this for nearly three years. I love that I can order this on Amazon rather than committing to a monthly program. I lost over twenty pounds using it when I first began in spring of 2012 by replacing breakfast and lunch and eating a sensible dinner. This product helped me conquer some serious food addiction and learn to simply FUEL my body for two meals a day, and look forward to enjoying one gourmet meal a day-- something I still make a habit of. I've kept the weight off and feel really wonderful. It tastes great and can be made into many different flavors. I use plain Greek Yogurt for added protein and almond milk for a low calorie mixer, then add fruit & seasoning of choice-- try frozen peaches & ginger, or mango & coconut milk, raspberries & cocoa powder, or instant coffee & cocoa for a morning mocha. Ground flax seed is another great addtition for healthy fats, protein, fiber & omega 3s-- helps fill you up even more. I make the bag last by using one scoop in the morning and 2 scoops for lunch-- I have recommended it to many people and will continue to do so. It's not a silver bullet, but when a person plans ahead, stocks the right things to make great tasting shakes in a variety of flavors, and keeps at the program, it is DEFINITELY a VERY effective product.

Really liking this so far
I decided to try the Visalus shakes on the recommendation of a friend, and so far, I'm very happy. They are perfect for the first 2 meals of my day.....especially on days that I'm at work. They're just filling enough, without making me feel too full. And, they seem to keep my appetite in check for longer than other shakes I've tried. I've tried the orange, chocolate, and banana mix-ins, and they have been fine. I've also used regular Hershey's powdered cocoa (unsweetened) as a mix-in, and that is fine as well. I really wasn't intending this product to be for weight-loss, though I surely do need to lose weight. However, I have lost probably 10 pounds in the first 3-4 weeks of using this. I replace breakfast and lunch with the shakes, and then eat a regular meal for dinner, and I still do some limited snacking. I guess I was just finding that, at age 47, I'm really not feeling the need for more than 1 full meal a day. So, 2 of the Visalus shakes and a regular meal seem to be meeting my needs really well. And, from a nutritional standpoint, the shakes seemed to be made from really high-quality ingredients. I have no plans to end my use of the Visalus shakes. They taste really great, they are satisfying, and seem nutritionally sound.

Amazing & Yummy!
I've been using this product for 2 weeks tomorrow. I have lost a steady total of about 5lbs. These shakes helped me get out of my plateau. I drink one with coffee in the morning, and one with yogurt and fruit for dinner. That is the trick. You HAVE to mix it with fruit, milk, juices, or yogurt or it's not going to taste good! For lunch I usually have a soup and salad, or a sandwich. I have maybe 2 light- under 200 calorie snacks throughout the day. I also drink a lot of water. I work out at least twice a week. So any of you who work out regularly will have better results I'm sure. One problem I've noticed is that my diet doesn't really have enough fiber in it. Though the shakes have about 5 grams per serving I believe, that is not quite enough for me. I purchased some clear Metamucil to mix it, and that does the trick. The reason I'm not rating it 5 stars is how long it lasts. I know it says 30 meals, and that is about right. I've ordered another bag, because in 2 weeks its GONE. It's a little pricey but it works. I think it amps your metabolism, because this past weekend I indulged and had a turkey leg, sushi, skittles, sweetarts,and crawfish and actually LOST weight still!!! I recommend it!
