connectors will not work with OEM wiring, need to cut them off and hardwire to harness . otherwise looking nice and bright

I figured the best way to connect them need to reverse black and white wires in light connector by inserting pin niddle into the back of connector where wires enter it and remove rubber piece and press on plastic lock to remove wires out of connector. Reverse wires will allow to plug light connector to Volvo plug locks facing away from each other. It's hard to insert connectors to each other because contact on lamp plug round but supposed to be flat so had to make them flat by using long nose pliers. Apply some electrical grease to keep corrosion away. But since these lights have extra wires that increase length of wires after plug need to zip tie connectors plugs between lights so plastic back housing can close.

I had to purchase new connectors for the lights to fit my truck. It was a rather simple process to cut the old connectors and splice in the new ones and put it back together. It looks great.

Connectors are NOT made for Volvo oem harness! Had to cut wire and connect with connector butt’s. One out of 5 stoped working after just 5 and half months, the contractor isn’t the issue but the light itself

Let me start by saying that Partsam products are usually really good. The fit and appearance was right on and the leds were super bright, but I had to cut the wires because they were not a direct plug and play for the OEM set up. Unfortunately, these visor clearance lights didn't last very long. I had installed two lights replacing the OEM lights that finally went out after 5 years. These Partsam lights only lasted 1 month before the LEDS starting fading and buring out 1 by 1. Today I removed them to install some new lights and saw that they had corroded from the inside which caused the lights to stop working.

Within one month two lights failed, within 3 months two more have failed. Less than 1 year and only one light still works but it's full of green and likely not going to last much longer. It's disappointing because it's INSIDE the sealed housing, and these lights are 9 feet above ground in such a protected area on the truck. Will never buy these again, stick with the dealer
