For control of Lymphedema & poor leg circulation. Be sure to pick correct size. Highly recommended!
(Review of 10 cm x 5 m size)This 100% cotton/made in Germany product was what was originally given to me by my physical therapist treating me for Lymphedema that developed following a knee replacement. Used as a wrap from foot to just below the knee, it stimulates circulation of the lymph system and helps with blood flow in the lower leg as you walk and move. It is only lightly stretchable (unlike an Ace bandage) and should not be put on too tightly. As the wrapping technique starts at the foot just below the toes, it needs to comfortably go around the ankle, so the size you use is VERY important. This 10 cm size is roughly 4-inches in width. While that's fine for my size 13 foot and large ankle, it probably won't suit most people very well. The 8 cm size (just shy of 3 1/4") is probably more suitable for the average person, while the even smaller 6 cm (about 2 1/3") would be fine for very small feet and most post-toddler children. If you use a size that is too wide, it will bunch up as it wraps around the ankle and will not be as effective. The wraps are hand or machine washable, but I do recommend air-drying.TIP FOR SECURING:The wrap comes with 2 clips to secure it at the top. Anyone who has ever used an Ace bandage is familiar with these clips that bend too easily, come loose to easily and always, always get lost somehow. I use the method my therapist recommended and it works to perfection: rather than use the supplied clips, secure the top (ending) edge with 2 or 3 strips of masking tape. It stays put for the entire day and you don't have to deal with looking for missing clips.WIDTH CONVERSIONS:10cm = 4 inches8cm = 3 1/8 inches6cm = 2 1/3 inchesNOTE:As with anything you use that might impinge your circulation, you should check first with a doctor or other professional before using this product

Well constructed, does the job
I have edema and my compression socks were not doing the trick for me anymore and just were not controlling the swelling, I think I have developed lymphedema as my legs looked like I had elephantitis, my skin was splitting, sores were developing and I was so very swollen -- my legs from foot to hip were really swollen. Anyway, I used these compression bandages and in a couple of days the swelling was way down. The are also well constructed and should last a fair amount of time. Also, I used essential ginger oil on all the areas where lymph nodes are and that worked amazingly well -- so if you are also having his problem you might give it a try.

very good bandaging for lipedema and lymphedema
very good bandaging for lipedema and lymphedema! It works on my legs just wonderful! no more compression stockings. these do a better job and you don't have to keep pulling them up! once you get the hang of it you can bandage your legs in 10 min.

10 cm Width Is Just About 4 Inches WIde - Make Sure It's The Size You Want
This bandage was too wide, but I have been using it anyway. It's a bit awkward to apply around the ankle and foot because of the width, but it was my mistake in selecting the wrong size. The 8 cm bandage that I ordered later is the perfect width. Good quality bandages, for compression therapy.

Relief from swollen legs!
Great leg wrap. I helped me successfully wrap my husband's legs which suffer from edema.. It made my job easier and his legs feel so much better after they are wrapped.

Four Stars
Every bit as good as at the therapy center. And more convenient as I don't have to drive there.

Same as the doctor uses.
Same thing they use at wound care clinic. And I like the fact that they’re washable when they become soiled by drainage from my leg wound. If your wound is daring you need a few since some will be in the laundry. They have to air dry and then be rolled up again. But they work just fine after laundering.
