This text book is very easy to read and has a lot of update information. It gives you formulas and scenarios for review. The first day I had the book, I read 110 pages. Doesn’t read like text book and I am grateful because I find most text books boring. I know we need them and they are full of knowledge. The writing style of this author was fantastic and I wish all my Respiratory books were written by him.

I am a professor of medicine, an RT and a leading researcher in the field of mechanical ventilation for over 40 years. I believe this is the most accurate and practical stand alone textbook dedicated to the subject of mechanical ventilators and their use. Of particular interest is its use of consistent terminology related to the taxonomy of mechanical ventilation (see PMID: 25118309) as is used in Volsko's Equipment for Respiratory Care 2nd edition (same publisher) and Egan's Fundamentals of Respiratory Care 13th edition (Elsievier). All highly recommended.

I like the book. It has good updated information. But the package was delayed.
