Paper Mate® Profile Retractable Ballpoint Pens, Bold (1.4mm), Black, 2 Count

I love the pen, it writes perfectly, as I like.

I am a Planner Girl. I love my paper planner (Sourcebooks Sweary Planners are my favorite). I coordinate my appointments by color coding them. These pens are perfect for my planner so I can see at a glance if I have a medical appointment (red), or if I need to get the oil changed in the car (orange), dinner with friends (turquoise), go to the bank (green), etc. I love the way they write, smooth and even every time. I love the grip that is soft, but not too squishy. The colors are vibrant. I like the bigger pack with a couple extra colors, but these are the colors that I use the most.

The PaperMate Profile series is a great set of pens. For all the hype that PaperMate gives to the InkJoy line, the Profile is a much better pen. This set is the stick version, there is also a retractable version and both come in a variety of colors. This is a larger pen, not refillable, but packed with plenty of ink and a large, comfortable grip area that allows you to write for long periods of time and reduces hand fatigue. I buy sets in different colors for work and have used them for years. Even several co-workers have become fans. The InkJoy line is smooth, but feels cheap and hard. Profile pens glide across the paper and are quite durable. They are really fantastic pens. Note that they are bold, pens 1.4 mm, with vivid ink.

The pens write nicely, but like most gel-tip pens, the cartridge doesn’t last very long

I've tried many different pens ranging from the cheaply made Paper Mate Write Bros. Stick Medium Tip Ballpoint Pens, 12 Red Ink Pens (3321131) to multi pens (black, red, and pencil). These pens are the greatest pens ever (in my opinion). I use these pens to do HW, correct tests, draw, and anything else one can think of! My friend borrowed this pen and didn't want to give it back because she loved the pen so much. *PROS -8 Different Colors -Pen Clip to hook on to something (such as a shirt pocket) -Smooth writing, never have to scribble to get the ink started -Colors are true to their pen color (some pens have strange colors that aren't the same as the pen color itself) -Grip helps you write better without the pen slipping -I've never had these pens leak ink on me. *CONS -Ink may run low quickly (because once you try this pen you won't stop using it!) ~AccuRating: 5/5 *****

I have these pens in black, and they are my favorites! I decided to give the colors a try, and like them as well. The ink is bold and the colors are great and write smoothly.

You can't go wrong with Paper Mate pens! They last the longest, out of any pens I have ever tried. I know this because I have a random green Paper Mate pen, that I've had for close to 10 years, and it still works. This particular black pen writes well, is smooth, and has a nice grip. No complaints.
