Best boots ever, they fit great and they are super comfortable. I had other brand of boots during the police academy and they were uncomfortable and heavy and gave me blisters. At the academy we had to run in boots and ran a lot and ran everywhere, I discovered these boots almost at the end of the academy when I saw them in a classmate. He loved them and so do I. The boots I had before had a side zipper and I though that was helpful during quick changes but these boots are even better! The speed laces make them so easy to lace up and get going. Incredibly comfortable, is like running with sneakers. Pros: Lightweight True fit. Almost no break in period (2 or 3 10 hour days did it) Speed laces make them easy to put on and take off. The soles are comfortable Good support everywhere. Great craftsmanship. Cheap Cons: To give them a shine took about 5 hours, the came in flat black, to shine them up to academy standars took about 16 coats and then some. A lot a lot of work. But after the shine was completed they hold shine very well. Not made in the US, Vietnam made. I have not run into any issues that other people has mentioned. They first pair I had went through a lot of abuse at the academy, a lot of running and push ups and tactics trainig including jumping over 6 foot walls and chainlink fences and the most important....... hours of marching! With all that abuse the sole help up very well and so did the boots. I was using them well after the academy. They would've lasted me longer but I made the rookie mistake of trying to put out a road flare by stomping on it and that did not work out well, it almost burn a hole through the sole but as I learned, a road flare will burn a hole through any sole. I highly recommend these boots and actually all danner products

Excellent boot! Extremely light weight, much like the Nike boot. They have the same response and feel as a sneaker when running. This boot is actually waterproof. I have been ankle deep in standing and flowing water and my feet stayed dry. The toe does scratch easily and will fade with everyday use in about a year. Overall worth the purchase.

I bought these in Dec 2019 and in 2025 I finally moved on from them. No major changes from my initial review. I worn the sole down (specifically the outsole, which is the sole that contact to the ground) to the the point that it effected my balance. I have trekked through mud, volunteered at farms, done yardwork, walked my dog, ran a 5k with them on in the rain (alongside my dog), and hiked rough, dry, wet, and snowy terrains! In rare occasion, I even wore them loosely in public with questionable fashion sense. While my use was situational based on activity, I was pleased with these boots and how long they have lasted. Only the outsole wore out, repairable probably. The rest of the boot probably could have used some cleaning as everything stayed intact. For the first few months, they were a little tough to put on as the heel is stiff, but once I broke them in the comfort was worth it. Relatively light, true to width, above average support, and overall fit as expected. Feet were not soaked in any terrain due to the environment or just basic bodily sweat. However, still need to let them air out...definite stinkers after 5 years. I was not disappointed with these boots at all. The style is timeless. These days, my habits have changed and I have moved on to barefoot options out of pure preference.

I've used these boots almost daily for work (LE). First off, these are the best boots I've had hands down. The Gore-Tex has been outstanding for keeping my feet dry. I don't miss having a zipper take my boots off, the laces are easy. There was no break in period. They arrived in the mail and I wore them that night, no discomfort at all. Very light boots. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the sole. After walking in them for long periods of time, they can become uncomfortable. I'm sure a quality sole would address that.

This boots are amazing! Very light and comfortable. I have used several boots of security but this ones are THE BOOTS! This take more than normal to arrive but I gave 5 starts because that was problem of the mail not the seller. Thank you very much

These boots RULE. I have awful feet and I've never found a pair that fits as well or looks as good! They weigh nothing. Good grips, just shy of zero drop , no big chunky heel. Wide toe box means your feet and toes can breathe and move the way they are supposed to. No stiff ankles either. The material is so light and flexible you can move your ankles properly. So far they are pretty good in the snow and cold too. If you're looking for rigid ankle support, don't buy these. I'm on my feet 9 plus hours a day on concrete and they feel amazing. Right out of the box too. No break in time. I'll be getting another pair for regular wear. *** Note on sizing. I'm a womens 8-8.5 and I have narrow feet. I originally ordered Men's size 7 which should translate to women's size 9, as I wanted to be able to wear thick socks in winter. The Mens 7 was right at the end of my toe and almost too narrow... So I returned them and got an 8 Men's. Which should translate to a women's 10. But doesn't. I have ample room and can wear thicker socks than normal, but not big wooly ones. If there was an 8 wide available I would've gotten that. Suffice to say the 8 is working out excellent so far. Feet are warm in -6C and can still move. So if you are female I would suggest ordering your normal women's size in mens. (If you take an 8 - 8.5 women's, order an 8 mens) and if your foot is at all wide I would highly suggest the wide version. Other than the weird sizing these boots are PERFECT, and way cheaper through Amazon than getting them from the manufacturer.

I would say the fit was good. A good size guide would be NB 2E sized running shoes.
