BioGuard PowerFloc - 1 Quart, Clears Cloudy Water Fast, Effective Pool Water Enhancer, Makes Water Clear and Sparkling

Ok this stuff works great. First time pool owner, and it’s been overtaken by algae for at least 3 weeks. I tried a muriatic acid, I shocked it a bunch, I tried a few different clarifier brands - nothing was working. No visibility past the first 6 inches of water. Then I picked up some of this. Made sure the pool pH was in the right ballpark and doubled the recommended amount for the size pool I have (only took about 5 oz for 3000 gallons). My chlorine levels were also pretty low which might have helped. I saw it start working with a few hours of applying. You let the filter run 2 hours to circulate and then you turn it off and let it all settle for 24 hours. Finally!!I can see the bottom of the pool! It feels like a miracle. Would recommend.

This is the best thing ever !! After super shocking the worst pool water I've ever had, you couldn't see an inch into the water. It was white dead algae. Gross. I added this to my 30'x52" pool and the next days sparkleling water. I dumped it to waste from the bottom and it looks fabulous. I love bioguard lo n slo because we have high ph and alkalinity In out water, it takes the guess work out and constantly haven to do each adjustment separately was costly. I only use about 2 cups right into the skimmer with the pump on and it's done. I knew this must be good because I trust the bioguard brand. Get this you'll be amazed by how well it works.

Following directions, I added the correct amount to my in ground pool and ran my filter pumps for 2-hours. Then I let it work overnight. The next morning my pool was filled with small floating “rafts” of debris. 2nd day my pool was crystal clear! Great Product!

Works great. Just make sure your multi port valve is set to recirculate before adding it to your pool. Let the pump run for a while. I usually let it run overnight. Next morning shut the pump off wait about 8 hours and everything falls to the bottom. Vacuum to waste place. Once you’re all done set your valve to filter and you’re good to go.

Works like magic. Best to have your vacuum head in the pool and ready to go the night before because the power on the bottom of the pool is easy to disturbed.

I’ve used other flocs and dropout brands before. Bioguard is a well known brand and it is what I use for other chemicals in my pool. So for this product to not work was truly disappointing. Did not improve water clarity and cloudiness at all. I’ve had my inground pool for 14 years so I have knowledge of how to treat the water……. This did not do a thing. I guess my concern would be if maybe the product was too old and deteriorated beyond useful effectiveness. Better to just go to the pool supply house locally to purchase chemicals
