Amazing Mazel!
This is my 4th purchase of these wedges. The 45° Square Strike “chipper” was my first. I lost it and ordered another Mazel 45° because I liked it so much. So many shots you can accomplish with it (just like a reg pitching wedge but easier). Well, it was found and turned into the pro shop, but I decided to keep the reorder (just in case). My results were so good I purchased the 7,8,9 iron set to replace my old Calloway Hawkeye VFT wedges. Next came the 60° Square Strike “Lob” wedge. I’m told no amateur should ever have a lob wedge but this works great for me on short shots around the green if I’m not going to putt instead. So now, my short game is getting pretty good (I’m a very good putter) but I’m hitting my pitching wedge too far on 50ish yd shots, having difficulty guaging/feeling the distance and of course the lob is too short a club - in my mind I needed a gab wedge that I could control without thinking too hard (was having a hard time with my husband’s 52° gap wedge) SOOOO, to make a long story short, I ordered the Mazel 55° wedge and BINGO my handicap came down one whole point in a just a couple of rounds! It’s my go to club on the 55yd shots to get the ball on the green and get my 1-2 putts down. These clubs have a heavier feel than most wedges I’ve had, and I like that a lot. My index is still kind of high but low enough to get me on St Andrew’s if I had the chance to play there again L.O.L. I’m a 78 yr old, 5’3” 132# woman, I’ve played 3x a week consistently for the past few years. I’ve had 2 knee replacements and 1 hip replacement in those years so the bod doesn’t turn like it used to, the LPGA is not knocking on my door, - but I have so much more confidence using these Mazel square strike wedges! Woman or Man, if any of this sounds familiar you should try at least one of these Mazel clubs. FYI- this Mazel 55° has also replaced my Sand Wedge!

Nice addition to the bag!
Been wanting to try a chipper for some time now and saw a review on the tube about this one. Seems like it will be good around greens and shots within 50 yards. I only gave it 4 stars due to the back of the head having a plastic insert which makes it look kinda cheap. Other than that, I do like the club and if you stand over the ball more upright and use a putter stroke, it seems to come up and off the ground quite nicely. For the price, I think it’s a good buy if you’re on the fence.

Love the 60º just hit it like a putt!
I have this chipper in the 60º and then another brand that’s roughly a 45º chipper. They are my favorite clubs, and it’s not even close. I have chipped-in with both, multiple times. Before this, I had NEVER chipped-in, ever. I now have six total chip-ins since I started using these clubs about six months ago. They are dead simple to use around the green…just swing them like a putter! On top of that, you can still do full swings with them. This 60º chipper will go 65 - 70 yards on a full swing for me. Sends it sky high and stops on a dime, just like you’d expect with a lob wedge.

So far so good.
My short game suffered from chunking and slicing, take your pick which is just frustrating. I figured I would try anything so this is anything. For the price I had nothing to lose. First , at this price point it brought a cover, nice. The club doesn't look or feel cheap, I will change its grip but other than than its just fine. Once you hold it its not like any wedge you have ever held. The weight its concentrated in the club head so you don't how hard to hit it so it will take time to figure it out. Chunking won't be a problem, I have used it in 4 rounds and it's flat bottom will not dig in. I have only sliced it once and it was my fault. I just need to focus more on my stance. In summary , I have been inside the green more consistently than with my wedges saving strokes of my high handicap game. So far so good 👍!

Not for me...too much money..for the performance of it
Guess I'm the first one who was not satisfied. It's an ok club but it's really not worth 70.00 IMHO. I bought the 55 degree wedge. I have a 37 degree I use that does just as well. I also have a Tour Edge Bazooka One Out wedge I paid 50.00 dollars for brand new that is as good as this for me, especially out of the bunkers. Every one has their own opinions. Thought I'd try it didn't work out. Just thought I'd share these thoughts.

Best chipper
I had an original infomercial version but it got stolen so I ordered the Mazel 45 degree version. Even though it was the same lift it seemed to hit the ball lower. So I ordered the 55 degree version. This is the one to get. It chips just high enough to give excellent results. My friend has the 55 degree infomercial version but the sole is bigger than their 45 degree version. The Mazel 45 and 55 degree version seem to have similars sole sizes which I much prefer. They say it is hard to chunk these which I agree with. This is my main go to club around the greens. Very happy with the performance and Mazel even gives you a head cover which the other brand does not. My only request would be to replace the green grip with a regular black or grey one!

Chipper wedge
When your short game is less than stellar, you’ll try anything. Price was right for this experiment

Received earlier than scheduled but did not come with head cover. My previous purchase of same with 45 & 60 loft have head covers.

Good value

Exactly as expected. Not a magic fix for bad strokes and can still blade it across the green. Works well when used correctly

I loved this Wedge, and found it easy to use from 120 mtrs out to anywhere in close, But am thinking of getting the 55 degree Mazel for the closer chips, as I find I over shoot with the 45 degree, and hope that the 55 will fix this, Overall I am very happy with this Club and would recommend it to anyone having trouble Chipping . It will improve your game no end, Great.

Good quality as advertised. Certainly helps chipping for mid to high handicappers. Need more practice to get used to distance management.
