Johnson's Hand & Face Baby Wipes, 25 Count (Pack of 6)

I purchased these wipes specifically for wiping my baby's face and hands. I was wary of using regular baby wipes because they weren't intended for face and hands, only baby bottoms. At least with these, I figured they would be gentle enough for his face and safe enough for hands that tend to wander into his mouth all the time. I had also purchased a pack of Babyganics Hand & Face wipes before this box arrived so I was able to compare the two. Hands down, I preferred the Johnson's pack. The smell was pleasant and the wipes were soft and had just enough moisture to clean him up easily. Pros: - Pleasant smell. It smells just like I imagine a baby would and it isn't overpowering either. - Soft cloth, perfect for gently wiping his face. We use this in the morning and night for quick clean-ups, as well as when we're on the go. I have a pack for the upstairs, downstairs, and in both of our diaper bags. - Easy-open package. I love the flip top which I can open one-handed. Great when I'm in a public restroom and trying to keep baby from wriggling off the changing table. The wipes also come out one at a time so I'm not constantly putting unused wipes back in. - Price was right, especially when buying a box of 6. - Just enough moisture on the wipe. I noticed that with the Babyganics wipes, I felt like I had to rewipe my baby's face with a tissue to get the excess moisture off. - Gentle on baby skin. My baby is somewhat prone to eczema rashes and he is sensitive to certain things. However, I've never noticed any adverse reaction to these wipes. Cons: - Package is a little bulky. The package is small, but it is thicker than the Babyganics wipes because they are folded differently. It still fits easily into my diaper bag, but it takes up a little more space width-wise.

I use these on my baby in between his bath time. They are great as they’re gentle yet effective with keeping him clean. The scent is not too strong, and they are a great size as far as covering the areas of his body. Each pack seems to be pretty long lasting as well.

I love anything that will help me reduce my baby's crying and whining when she's made to undergo the torture (!?) of having her face wiped off after a typically messy eating session, and this does the trick!! The fact that I am writing this review shows how thankful I am, because I am usually too busy to bother. But this is one of those saving graces. I used to buy Mustela facial wipes on occasion, but they were SO prohibitively expensive, I only used them when feeling a little like splurging. Luckily I found these on Amazon, and my baby actually prefers the J&J ones to Mustela, so much so she'll hold on to one for quite a while and play with it. This is one of my must-haves now. I second the reviewer "casca" who said the smell is actually quite pleasant and light. Don't know what some of the other negative reviewers were talking about when complaining about the smell. This is not something I noticed at all. It just smells like a baby, and wipes her face cleaner than just water would.

These are great all-purpose wipes for hands and face! They do a good job removing food, milk, etc from little hands and mouths. I definitely keep this in my diaper bag and near the high chair, though I’m docking a star since I think they could be a little cheaper for how many you get. Still, a good value compared to similar products. They also don’t irritate my toddler’s sensitive skin (eczema baby). They smell fresh, too!

So, I don’t have any kids, but I do have sensitive skin so I’ve found baby wipes (as opposed to makeup remover wipes) to be better in preventing an allergic reaction, which typically consists of temporary redness and heat, when removing my makeup. These wipes work great for that! On a typical day my makeup consists of primer, foundation/BB/CC cream, setting powder, highlighter, eye shadow, mascara, setting spray. I put it on at about 7am before work, and remove at around 9pm at night, with the occasional touch up throughout the day. One of these wipes is large (and tough) enough to remove the makeup from my entire face, including eyeshadow, in just a few swipes. Note though, that they will not completely remove mascara, even non-waterproof. Waterproof mascara there’s no hope, and that’s fine since they don’t say they do remove it, or make any claims that way. The consistency of the wipes is quite robust. They feel strong, and have never ripped. They’re not overly damp either, which is nice. There is a slight scent, kind of hard to identify (reminds me a little of babies – funny that!), but not unpleasant and I don’t think it would trigger anyone with sensitive fragrance allergies. The packaging is fine. No problem in dispensing just one wipe at a time, although I do need two hands to get one out – that’s not a problem for me since there are no little people requiring them in a hurry and I’m not a parent trying to get said little people clean :) One note though – once opened these tend to dry out faster than other wipes (baby or makeup removing), despite having a good lid. I’m glad they come in a 25 pack instead of 30 or above which is quite common. If I happen to go a week without needing them I’ll notice the dryness in an already-opened pack straight away. They’re still usable, but not for much longer. If I’ve not needed them for over a week, I’ll have to toss them out since they’ll be too dry and won’t actually help in removing foundation or eye makeup. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind.

The size of these wipes are perfect and of pleasant scent. First time ordering and I was not disappointed.

Excellent product. I've used these for years. I keep them in my car for after work use. I can easily clean my face. I also use them for my puppy to keep his paws clean and between baths I wipe his body down. Makes my puppy smell GREAT!!

Light scent cleansing cloth that doesn't leave skin irritated. This brand is all I use now for home, car and vacation travel use.
