Mag Storage Solutions Magnet Kit for Magstore Magazine Storage Racks

Ordered to put the mag storage rack up on the side of my gun safe. Magnets have a strong hold and support six magazines fully loaded with three sitting on top

Like many other reviews state: yes these are expensive but they really do work! I am using them on the mag solutions AR mag holder and have all mags filled to the brim with 220 grain 300 Blkout rounds. I stuck this to the door of my safe. It is strong enough that even when slamming the door and this thing loaded up it doesn't budge. I would definitely recommend these.

Magnets are very strong and easy to install on the Mag Storage Solutions pistol magazine rack. Magnets hold the rack in place with many of the magazines loaded without and slipping or sliding down the side of my gun safe. Updated September 2, 2017. After close to a month of use, one side of the rack is beginning to slip just a bit under the weight of the loaded magazines. I have since ordered 2 more Mag Storage Solutions AR rack but I chose to find the magnets from a different source. I purchased N52 rated neodymium (rare earth) magnets with a pull force of 39 pounds each. The magnets have a threaded stud mount and I simply added wing nuts to the top two and regular nuts on the bottom two magnets to finish the install. Overall, I was able to purchase the magnets and nuts for two racks cheaper than I bought the first set of magnets from Mag Storage.

Ok, your right. These are frickin' expensive. However, they work perfect. Easy to use and they are strong. I used them to hold the Mag Storage Solutions holders to the side of my gun safe. With the holders filled to capacity with fully loaded magazines I was able to insert and remove the magazines with absolutely no slippage by the magnets. That is not to say that they are impossible to move but you would really need to make an effort to move them. These magnets are a great combo for the mags storage solutions. The cost is hard to handle and that is why I deducted a star. It takes four magnets (one set) to mount each holder (two holders come with the mag storage solution, so you would need two sets of magnets.) I tried to take pictures to show how the magnets look.

Although spendy it was worth the extra money to get the magnets along with the magstorage rack. I stuck this high on the inside of my gun safe - an area not being used. We all know the rule of gun safes holding about half of the advertised amount - great to maximize the space I wasn't using. Magnets are strong - even with all the mags loaded it doesn't move even when yanking the mags out of the rack. Buy once, cry once.

Super strong magnets that you pretty much have to use for the Mag Storage racks unless you plan to use screws. I have had one mag rack in place for about a year with 6 loaded AR magazines on it and there has been no slip or loss of grip. Order 2 more when I got a couple of additional racks. No complaints.

Magnets hold 6 full mags without any slipping. Great accessory when not using screws. Price a little high though..
