Nice book with 100 fonts and a example of one letter at least of each font how it has to be written.

Excellent book gives all the fonts one can think of!

It's a very nice book for learning calligraphy. It has detailed description of how to make the strokes to achieve the letters. I wish I had a calligraphy pen and little more patience to make full use of this book. The only downfall is that I didn't find the styles too diverse, They are mostly older english styles while I'm into modern calligraphy and typography. And even if you do learn these letters, you will need to practice a lot to understand how to modify these letters to bring them together (I don't know if that makes sense to you. I mean, it will take great practice to get the letters right and to blend the letters well) This will, however, be the case with anything you learn, but as far as the book is concerned, it's great.

This book is a gold mine! As a complete beginner, I appreciate the diversity of fonts, the clarity of instructions, and options/tips for getting started. Things are laid out so simply, I don't feel intimidated by any of the styles or concepts
