I have 4 cats and I bought 2 of these mice as a "trial." We have an old, ratty toy mouse that has somehow survived for about three years. It's tattered and grimy and ripped but they LOVE it. I'm hoping these refillable catnip mice will take its place in their hearts! The soft wooly fur makes it easy for them to pick it up with their claws. This morning I awoke to find one of the cats rolling around on the floor with it, clawing and biting and cuddling it. It's a win! It comes with a generous amount of catnip. The mouse's tummy has a little opening where you put the catnip and it closes with Velcro. I sort of get it "started" by squishing the mouse in my fingers to release some of the catnip scent. Very good quality. I love that it's refillable.

When I adopted my cat from Seattle Humane, they sent him home with his favorite toy which is this catnip mousy. He LOVES this toy with his whole heart but it’s gotten absolutely filthy so I got him a new one. We really like it. It has a little lined pouch that closes with Velcro that can be filled with fresh catnip so it always smells good. My cat likes the fuzzy fabric and enjoys trying to pull the tail off, which has so far resisted his attempts. I’m pleased because he loves this thing and never gets tired of it. It’s of decent quality and it’s lightweight so he has no trouble carrying it around abd it hasn’t fallen apart.

My cat loves this toy and is easy to play with. Made of quality materials and the enclosed cat nip is plenty strong. My only problem is the hole you put the cat nip in is not made the best! I loaded it up with cat nip and hand sewed it shut. Maybe a factory quality issue!! My cat is still crazy about this toy!!!

I've had 4 cats over the years and every one of them has had this toy. My current cat is elderly and i'm not really sure why I never bought him one. When I saw it i thought he deserved a new toy. He has carried this mouse all over the house for several days now. I woke in the night to find him hiding it and catching it under a paper bag. He's like a kitten again. I do have catnip spray that I usually put on his toys but the stuff it came with seems to be doing the job just fine.

My kitten has had this toy since I took him in at four weeks old. According to what I've learned, kittens aren't affected by catnip in the same way as an adult cat. I purchased this since it was cute, inexpensive, and I could use it with the catnip once he grew older. When I gave this to my kitty, it quickly became one of his favorite toys. He likes to play with it whether I put it out for him to use or not. I would absolutely recommend this toy to other cat owners searching for something their kitty will like. I'm not sure if it's safe to expose your kitten to cat nip so early on, therefore I'd advise kitten parents to introduce the catnip as your kitty grows older. The catnip comes in a separate container, which is a bonus.

It is a fun toy, a decent size, and it's very soft. Value for money, not so much. You can find similar items at the Dollar tree for a book. I was in a pinch, that's why I got it here. I would recommend, but I wouldn't buy several of these. I can get them for a dollar and when you're buying in bulk for multiple kittens, things can get pricey when they are three or four dollars. As for durability, my cats are going to tear this thing up in an instant. I don't imagine it lasting more than a month. The catnip is a nice touch, so you can use that for other toys that you have. All in all it's a fun toy, and it would be durable if you had only one cat.
