I use this to pull audio from other videos to use the sound effects for my video. Basically sound bites and sometimes music but of course I'll ask permission if I use it on an upload. Works great!

If you have an older surround sound system which I do it works great no issues at all

What I love about this product is that EVERYTHING needed was included. The additional required HDMI cable, the 5V power supply and transformer. Many kits are minimalist prompting the purchase of these accessories; not necessary here. Since all parts were included, I had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. I'm very happy with the purchase. A great price when you consider the cost of these accessories if purchased separately. Thank you!

I was really looking forward to getting this one because I have a powered subwoofer which I use in my home video system. Previously, I was able to just run an analog cord from my sound bar to the subwoofer and all was well. However, after that sound bar broke, I began looking at newer models - most have wireless subwoofer outputs, but seemingly most (or all) did not have a subwoofer out connection - bummer. Then I read a fine article at how you can use an HDMI Audio Extractor Splitter Adapter, to be able to have audio going to your soundbar, and then using one of the outputs to run a cable to your subwoofer - easy, I thought. But it was not to be with this particular splitter. As my subject line indicators - completely nonfunctional at all, so I sent it back. Will look for others (better I hope).

Nice to convert audio for home stereo

The first one became defective after a couple days. The seller immediately shipped out another one and I received it in 3 days. I would buy again

After working and practicing the piano with the assistance of the DVD I am pleased with my purchase. I am using it.
