I use this as an extension cable for a webcam. It gives me a much longer cable to place the cam where I need it in another room so I don't have to move my PC. The cable only works one way, so pay attention to what end is plugged in to your PC (the correct end is marked PC).

I needed this cable for an HTC Vive being used in an adjacent room, which had issues with cable lengths not reaching our PC. This cable was well rated and shown to work with VR setups so we gave it a shot and it works wonderfully! We've had no issues with dropped inputs and tracking, the VR experience has been very smooth. The only issue we ran into was with the headset not registering before, which came down to an issue of polarity. We did not check the tags originally and find the end that goes to the PC versus the end that goes to a camera or device. Once we swapped which end was plugged in where, this issue was gone. I heavily recommend this cable if you have an issue of cord length and want something that won't drop input, but do be careful with which end is plugged in and to what device(s).

I use this to transfer songs from iTunes to a DAC in my office, so I can listen through my stereo system.

I use this to connect my printer in the next room to my computer in my room. The two ends of the cord are the same, that is, they are both USB A Male to Male plugins, so if you want to plug this cord into another printer cable or USB cord to make it even longer, you will an USB female adapter to do so.

Cable did not work. I had the correct orientation as per the instructions but it did not connect.
