My first impression was "this smells like the kind of paint you use to paint your house with." It has a VERY strong paint odor (at least mine does) but the packaging is very pretty. It came with all of the brushes listed and they seem to be of very good quality. The ones that are supposed to be soft are and the ones that are supposed to be stiff are. They come with protective plastic sheets around them, which I found nice. The brushes have a nice weight to them and are easy to hold. Some of the hairs on the bigger brushes seem to be curled, bent, or otherwise misshapen, but that can happen during shipping. It doesn't seem like it would be a very big problem. The fan like brush seems to be sparse but it could be the way it is supposed to be. The eyeliner brushes are firm and easy to control, which I personally love for gel liner. The sponge applicator is pleasantly surprisingly double sided. One side seems to be softer that the other, and the sponge seems very high quality. The spoolie is very high quality from what I can tell, using boar bristles instead of plastic which I love. Now for the makeup test. I'll be attempting to use as many brushes as I can to test all of them on their affectiveness. Foundation: I see ABSOLUTELY NO streaking which almost makes me want to cry. Normally I would have to run my hands over to eliminate streaking and wear twice as much foundation as normal but just blending it in with the foundation brush, there are absolutely no streaks. It also seems to blend my foundation with little effort. For my powder to make my face matte (I have oily skin so a dewy complexion is not for me), I used the largest brush to both pat it on and dust off any excess. It worked beautifully and without any cakeyness that can happen with powders. Eyes: the eyeshadow brushes pick up color so easily and depending on the brush your using you can really pack on the color. The eyeliner brushes offer a TON of control and the result is just fantastic. Overall? 10/10 Unimeix!! The smell of the packaging was off putting but your brushes are fantastic. Best purchase I've ever made for makeup. The photos posted were after I did my makeup so they do not come dirty I swear, they come perfectly clean.

I was very skeptical of purchasing these brushes at first because the price I figured they would be very cheap and not great to work with, but I am so glad that I took the plunge and ordered them! The brushes are so soft and I have not had any problems with shedding or fall out. They all work very well with makeup application and I love the beautiful case they came in, great for storage and also makes them very easy to travel with. This brush kit has everything you need to apply your makeup like a professional and become a Makeup Maven. I am giving this brush set a 5 star rating based on price point, quality and appearance of the brushes and convenience of the case. Makes taking them on the go so much easier! I highly recommend this set and will most definitely purchase more in the future.

I really do like these brushes! The case is beautiful, the brushes are soft and seem like a reasonably good quality. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was because when it came in it had semi strong factory/chemical smell. I'm washed the case in some gentle laundry soap, and washed the brushes with my Mary Kay brush cleanser to get the smell out. (And I would have washed the brushes any way before use.) So, all in all, it was totally worth it for the price and beauty of these portable brushes.

Wow these are adorable! I love anything black and white, as it looks a bit fancier in my opinion and these brushes are no exception. They look nice and are extremely soft and easy to clean. I have not noticed any shedding yet, but it is still early. The case is cute and convenient- I love that it has the snap-button closures rather than the tie around it like my old brush case did. When I first opened the package, there was definitely a strong, awful smell coming from the brushes. I pulled each brush out of the plastic wrapper (they come wrapped individually as well) and out of the case and let them air out overnight and the smell was gone by morning. First use impression of these- they don't hold a lot of product, which can be good or bad. Really depends on what makeup look you're going for. I don't wear a large amount of makeup as i'm pretty much a beginner still, so these are perfect for me. It's a large enough set that I can practice using all the different brushes and playing with makeup styles without spending a lot of money on a nice brush set before I know how to use it. I wish I had thought of these as stocking stuffers- they'd be perfect!

For the price this is a decent set of brushes and would be great for a makeup beginner. I've found that the bristles on the bigger brushes are a little sparse, and they don't pick up powders as well as I would like (I have drugstore brushes that are better and of equal price point). I've tried out all the smaller brushes and have actually only continued to use two of them. So out of the whole pack I only use the powder brush (I'm using it for blush), and the small and large eye shadow brush (they are super soft and pick up powder well). The others are just too hard and don't seam to dispense product well. Over all for the price, I'd say you get what you pay for, and after all I did get three useful brushes out of a set that only cost me around 10 dollars. My brushes didn't arrive with a smell, though the bag they came in did, and they arrived in perfect condition otherwise. I had bought these with the mind set that I would take these on my upcoming vacation, and leave my good brushes at home. That will not be happening.

Good quality brushes wth no hairs falling out. Easy to clean too. I would definitely recommend this product.

Pennelli di buona qualità visto il prezzo, mi aspettavo roba cinese invece sono ottimi e la confezione non riporta odori. Materiale morbido sulla pelle, spazzole che non perdono peli e i pennelli sono lunghi e comodi e grazie alla custodia, anch'essa molto carina e comoda, permette di portarli anche in viaggio. Prodotto che consiglio vivamente.
