Used this for 20+ years and 100% recommend.
Application is simple- give it a good shake, apply several light to medium coats of spray onto the back (non-rotor contacting side) of new or (cleaned with brake cleaner) serviceable brake pads. Use a silicone based brake component lube on contact points and caliper pins (NOT THE ROTOR OR PAD CONTACT SURFACES) then reassemble. Enjoy smooth braking and most importantly, QUIET and non squeaking/squealing brakes. One can lasts a very long time depending on how often you're changing out pads. This is trusted by professionals and certainly worth it for any DIY'er or shade tree mechanic.

Disappointing Experience with CRC Disc Brake Quiet
I recently purchased CRC Disc Brake Quiet in hopes of reducing brake squealing and improving overall brake performance. However, my experience with this product was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the application process was messy and inconvenient. The instructions were vague, and despite following them carefully, I struggled to apply the product evenly to my brake pads. This resulted in uneven coverage and didn't effectively eliminate brake noise as promised. Furthermore, even after allowing ample time for the CRC Disc Brake Quiet to set and cure, I noticed that the squealing and squeaking noises from my brakes persisted. This indicated that the product did not provide the desired noise reduction effect. Additionally, I found that the CRC Disc Brake Quiet had a tendency to attract dust and dirt, which further compromised the performance of my brakes over time. Instead of improving braking efficiency, it seemed to contribute to increased wear and reduced stopping power. Lastly, I was disappointed with the longevity of the product. Despite reapplying it according to the recommended schedule, I didn't notice a significant improvement in brake noise reduction over time. This made me question the effectiveness and value of the CRC Disc Brake Quiet. In conclusion, my experience with CRC Disc Brake Quiet was disappointing. The messy application process, lack of noticeable noise reduction, tendency to attract dirt, and limited longevity make it a product that I cannot recommend for improving brake performance or reducing brake noise.

Another Quality CRC product spray on Back side of Pads NOT the disc side
The squeal you hear when slowing down is NOT metal to metal contacting. It is the pads rattling as you slow down due to a technician who fails to spray the Caliper side of each brake pad. You DO NOT apply to the side that contacts the disc. The Noise is chattering from Pads NOT having this product spayed on.

Read the instructions first; before you buy
In was hoping that you just spray it on the rotor or pads. Nope! Material must not touch the pad or rotor. Instead it goes on the metal back of the pad, under the spring. Suggesting that squeal is coming from the spring pressing on the back pad. It's not returnable due some kind of postal regulations.,

Stop the sqeal
I used this on my 1996 Benz. I was told I didn’t need brakes but to drive it more. I put this on the rotors/brakes and the noise instantly stopped.

Must be a mechanic or able to take the breaks apart to use. Not a simple spray on product
