We have some family sterling and some jewelry pieces that don't get enough use, aside from being taken out for polishing. I bought these bags to preserve the beauty of these items without making so much effort in the polishing department over the course of a year. We have a set of sterling teaspoons from 1904 although we only use two at a time these days. That provided me with a good testing opportunity: the stored spoons versus the ones in daily use. Even with washing and drying and buffing on a daily basis, some tarnish forms over a two-week period. The silver in these bags has stayed clean and bright. This item helps a lot for smaller pieces but would not work for dinner knives, creamers, sugar bowls or the like since they will not fit in the bags.

I use these to keep my silver jewelry tarnish-free. The sizes are perfect for earrings, bracelets, and collar necklaces. Easy to throw in a suitcase when traveling. They work for several months, just as indicated. This is my second purchase; I highly recommend.

I love these bags. It is my first time trying a anti tarnish storage product of any kind and I am glad I tried this brand and this assortment packet. After cleaning my jewelry with Tarn-X (which I also bought on Amazon), I put the jewelry in these bags. I do find the Ziploc feature a little difficult to open sometimes and tore the part of one bag along the Ziploc seam so it doesn't seal now.. What I have done is press the bag to remove the air, fold the top a couple of times and fasten it with a clip to keep it folded. I think that will work. I especially love the small bag with the divider in the middle. It is perfect for storing earrings. I like it that one side is clear so you can see what is in each bag.

These bags are great. I have to much sterling silver and having these bags will cut down on polishing. I will be buying more and probably more ss jewlery.

Divided bags - bad idea! Not as described or pictured. Bags tear when you go to open them. These are 4x4 bags that have been divided into two compartments via some type of adhesive or heat treatment that run from the bottom of the bag toward the opening. The dividers end anywhere from about 3/4 to 1/4 from the opening. They weren't all the same. I look them over....about have of them have small holes in them right above where the divider ends...a manufacturing flaw. Not big enough for anything to fall out...but big enough for air to get in. You don't want holes / air in an anti tarnish bag. I go to open the first bag, and it tears along the divider. Now I've got a bag with a 2" long hole. Most of these bags would tear just opening them. The rest would tear trying to get jewelry into and out of the long narrow compartments. The bags are not as described or pictured: They are described as having "polymer on one side and a clearpoly fim on the other". The bags I received are the same on both sides, and neither was a clear poly film. Mine were constructed out of one piece, folded at the bottom and sealed at the sides, not sealed at the bottom and sides as pictured. And in mine...the divider comes up much higher than the divider in the picture, which means torn bags when you go to open them. I purchased what should have been 15 bags in the package. I was sent a package of 10 bags.

I saw other reviews so was a little concerned about bags tearing. I was just careful and these have worked well for me. I'm thrilled to have them for all our jewelry for our store. They are keeping jewelry from tarnishing and well protected. So, 5 stars from me. I actually purchased these many times.

These little bags absolutely work! They prevent all my sterling silver jewelry tarnish free while they are stored. Therefore, I can quickly put on my jewelry without having to clean it first even after it hasn’t been worn in months. This is a wonderful product!

I use these bags for all my jewelry. But i have contacted the seller that all the small bags were glued in the center and need to be replaced. Pamela
