I started taking it on the recommendation of my doctor when I complained about bloating for no apparent reason. That was two years ago. Every few months or so I get bloated. Whenever this happens, I take Phazyme for about 2-3 weeks. First I take 2 softgels after first meal and 1 softgel after subsequent meals in one day (I think there's a 4 softgel limited within a 24-hour period). By the second week, I only take 1 softgel after each meal. If my bloating continues in week 3, I just take a softgel after the meal I think would cause me to be bloated.
