Shooter's Choice Synthetic All-Weather High-Tech Grease (10cc Syringe)

This stuff is a must have, I've been using just Rem oil and CLP but this grease works much better. My Savage Mark II bolt action always felt a bit stiff with the Rem oil, I used this on the bolt and now it is smooth and effortless. Used it on my Remington 870 and it cycles smoothly with less effort, will be using it on all my guns where there is metal on metal contact. I'll still use CLP on the triggers and Rem Oil to wipe down the guns but the actions are getting this grease. Highly recommend

This grease does exactly what it is supposed to do and does it well. It stays put, does not gum up in the cold, and keeps moving parts running smooth and quiet. The syringe makes application clean and precise so you are not wasting product. A little goes a long way. If you want your gear to cycle like it means business, this is the right stuff.

I've been using Shooters Choice Gun Grease for a number of years now, on not only guns, but on many other items around the house. The syringe is great for those times when only a small bit of grease is needed, or where access is tight. I first became aware of this grease while in the gunsmith shop of, Williams Gun Sight, in Davison Mich. When I noticed a few of the Shooters Choice syringes on different parts of the benches I asked about it and was told that it was their "go to" grease. Based on that, I tried it and have been using it ever since. A syringe of grease lasts me a fairly long time, and I do tend to use it on a somewhat regular basis. If used only occasionally, a tube should last a person a number of years........ Just remember to go easy on the syringe plunger and to pull it back slightly after the grease starts to come out. If you don't immediately pull the plunger back, grease will continue to ooze out of the tip until the pressure you created with the plunger fully settles. It takes very little pressure to get the grease flowing out of the tip, which comes out as something like a curling, reddish string. Usually I apply the grease, from the syringe, to a pipe cleaner which I use as an applicator, or, if I have the room to work, directly to my finger for application.

I bought 2 cubes. I'm going to my 9 mm first then 38 special revolver and several long guns. It will have them slick as glass.

The good: 1. It's easy to see pink/purple grease in any areas you've put too much. 2. It's easy to work with. 3. It helps smooth out the actions of my semi-automatic rifles and pistols. 4. It's easy to remove and doesn't seem to have the hardened buildup problems that some other greases do. The bad: 1. Like all gun grease, it's a carbon magnet. After shooting for any length of time it goes from pink/purple to grey. This is a good visual indicator of when it should be cleaned off and re-applied. 2. The tube it comes with will dump excessive amounts with just a little pressure from the plunger. It's very low viscosity, so go very slow or else you will have a big glob of grease you don't need and have to clean off. It will continue to come out even a minute or two after the plunger is pressed, so use a light touch. 3. If doing extended shoots, it will smoke. Not an excessive amount, but any around the chamber or barrel entry will get hot enough to smoke, specifically in pistols. This is fairly common. I can't attest to the ability to keep moisture at bay simply because I do not shoot when it's raining or wet. I can say that when I run out I will be ordering more. It's not a big tube but if you're cleaning correctly(and barely press the plunger during use) you will not need much of it.

Attention gun owners, this stuff is great for long storage. Regular gun oil will eventually pool and run out of your guns during long storage. If you live in humid conditions, coastal areas, cities, this is a great solution. I have been a smith for years and I have to say that I have seen dozens of examples of surface rust and other problems from improper long term gun storage. Believe me, use this grease as you would oil. Store your gun inside of a holster or gun bag as you always do. Less is less mess, less is best. Please check on your guns annually during long term storage, you will be happy you did.

Purchased a new tool for duck hunting. This is a great product to help keep that tool in working order. I keep one in my cleaning station and one in the boat.
