Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two, Clarifying Shampoo, Deep Cleanses + Removes Buildup, For All Hair Types, Especially Oily Hair

The reason why I put for curly hair is because you usually have to put a lot of products (leave in, curling crème, gel, oil) to maintain curly hair and sometimes you have to refresh once or multiple times with more products before wash day which cause an extreme amount of build up. Build up for curly hair is terrible because it extends drying time, weights your curls down, makes your hair brittle and worst of all causes curls to lose form. My hair was becoming difficult to maintain and my curls had lost their shape so I tried another brand of clarifying shampoo which did wonders for my scalp but left my ends extremely dry so I forced to use copious amount of product to soften my ends which is redundant to my objective. I had used Paul Mitchell detangler before and loved it so why I saw this shampoo pop up I decided to purchase it. It was the best decision I have made. It lathered on good, I was expecting for it to dry my hair a little but my hair was soft and shiny when I finished. I have very thick curly 4b hair and honestly could have brushed my hair without a conditioner if I wanted to(it usually takes me 30 min after conditioning sometimes). My hair was very clean and weightless. My curls were back to their natural form and my drying time was a lot shorter since the build up with washed out. I’m in love with this product and I honestly think I found the shampoo I’m gonna use till the day I die. I’ve never felt more strongly about a shampoo before.I don’t remember if Paul Mitchell products are sealed but this item I received wasn’t sealed and there was some spill but thankful the product it’s self was packaged in a plastic bag which contained the spill so that I was abel to use what had been collected in the plastic bag. I thought about exchanging it but decided against it since the product is pretty much full.

Both of my purchases have been authentic products and salon quality.Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two, Clarifying Shampoo Deeply cleanses and removes dulling buildup.Leaves hair squeaky clean, shiny and full of body.Crisp, energizing lemon scent.Smells nice, but, not overwhelming or offensive.I do not have oily hair . It’s long and normal-dry. Thus, I can go several days between shampooing. But, I need a good cleansing and scalp shampoo.I’ve been looking for a shampoo that was as good as the discontinued Neutrogena Clean shampoo. I am convinced that it doesn’t exist and have moved on from Neutrogena products.I’ve purchased MANY different shampoo products that claim to be clarifying or scalp cleansing. They claim to contain vinegar, rosemary,tea tree or numerous other ingredients that merit price point.None of these various products are cheap ranging from $8 - $20. Wasted money.Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two, Clarifying Shampoo is the best that I’ve tried. My hair and scalp are clean. It doesn’t strip or dull my hair. I’m staying with this shampoo. Could have purchased a year’s supply of Paul Mitchell quality shampoo with $ I’ve wasted on trying so many other brands!

This shampoo saved me from oily hair!!! I’ve been using this shampoo for a couple years now and I don’t see myself changing anytime soon. I used to have to wash my hair everyday because it got so greasy - and I don’t do any crazy activity on a daily basis to be making it greasy. This shampoo definitely helps get rid of the oil. I still wash my hair every other day but that’s just personal preference I definitely could go 3 days without washing it now that I use this shampoo.

I love this. Gets the build up out of my hair. Whether it’s oil or hairspray, it makes my hair feel nice

Addressing NM Gal issue: I, too, have baby fine hair. I use Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two once or twice a month to deep cleanse for my first shampoo then follow with my regular shampoo as the repeat shampoo along with my regular conditioner. I find that works to get rid of the buildup while sticking with my regular shampoo/conditioner that treats my hair more gently. I've been doing this for years. Hope this helps!

I LOVE this stuff! I've purchased multiple bottles. Strips all of the build up on your hair and improves the texture so much! I get compliments on how pretty and shiny my hair is all the time and it's because I use this shampoo to keep it healthy! A bottle will last you for a while too! Very much worth the price!

While I believe this is a great shampoo, it's just not for me. I've got baby fine hair that's plagued with flyaways/static. In addition, our city water is hard--really hard. So, being new to Paul Mitchell products I figured I'd try this along with other Paul Mitchell products I purchased. Figured using a clariying shampoo once or twice a month might help. But...- Too harsh for my hair. Strips away what little moisture my hair has.- Day 2 after using scalp feels dry and itchy.- Hair is very tangled when trying to comb it out. I think instead of a regular Paul Mitchell conditioner, I should've used a deep conditioner. My bad!Don't want my poor experience to dissuade anyone from using what appears to be a good product. Just not a good match for me.

I love this shampoo. My hair is oily, and it is great for that. It makes my hair feel great.
