This battery-operated Holy Spirit candle is indeed a lovely purchase! At just over 8 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter, the candle "flickers" like a real flame when turned on. The Holy Spirit dove in on one side and a "Prayer to the Holy Spirit" is on the opposite side. Powered by two AA batteries, the candle has functioned perfectly and is a great value for the money. I'd recommend it to anyone seeking votive-style lighting to enhance their prayer time.

I'm updating my review. Not sure how I did it, but the battery door finally opened. I inserted the batteries and it works ! It is very lovely! I keep it light on my desk where I do my Bible studies. 4 stars because the battery door was very hard to open.
