Billabong Men's Phil Jacket

I bought this jacket for a trip to Alaska. As it turns out, it was pretty warm there at the time, and this jacket was probably a little too heavy duty. It has a layered feel, which is really insulating. It can stand up to some pretty wintry conditions. It has had good use in Chicago this winter.The fit is good. The bordeaux color is a little brighter than I had expected, but still pretty good looking. It has a fairly lightweight but good-enough hood.The best feature of the jacket is the inner sleeve, that extends out to cover your hand (there's a hole for your thumb to come through so that it stays is place). Unless it's really cold, this can usually take the place of wearing gloves, and you can use your hands as normal without any interference.For the price (which is less than half of something similar from a company like TheNorthFace) you're getting a really solid jacket! Perfect for someone like me who needs something for casual wear (I'm not sure how it would stand up to a really rigorous winter expedition).
