Nokia Purity On-Ear Headphones (Magenta)

I purchased this headphone for use with my Nokia Lumia 1020 cell phone. First of all, the headset and the phone work perfectly together. You can change volume and answer/disconnect phone calls with ease.The packaging is exceptional and truly representative of the overall quality of the headphones. One surprise was the semi-flexible hard travel case that is included. The case is zippered and easily holds the folded phones for protection.The Nokia Purity Headset is a quality piece both in terms of looks and construction. Though made with some plastic, they are nicely finished and at least at the onset look to be long lasting given proper care. Two separate cords are included. Be sure to use the one with the audio controls for your electronics. I have read where the "other" cord supplied is for legacy Nokia products/cell phones only.I have used the headphones with the aforementioned Lumia 1020, iPad Mini and varied other electronics. Sound out of the box is terrific and gets even better with a progressed burn-in. After a few days of regular use, the sound for the money is fantastic, a perfect balance for my kind of music. Not too much of this and too little of that ... they are nicely balanced. Please note well: the cord controls in my experience so far only function properly (being able to adjust volume up and down and answer telephone calls) with my Nokia Windows Phone 1020. They work fine with other audio products (including Apple iPad and iPhone) for listening to music, playing movies, etc. Bottom line, same rich sound but without control from the headphone cable.Concerning noise/music bleed and isolation from noise. There is NO bleed. The phones isolate the "outside" noise very well but not totally, but darn good. Concerning comfort: they are comfortable, in fact ... very comfortable. As I am sure comfort level will defined by individual users, I can only say the Purity Headphones are comfortable for me both for short and long-term wearing.At today's price on Amazon, the Purity On-Ear Headphone is a true bargain.

First of all. I really liked enjoyed the Headphones. Regarding sound quality and design I have absolutely nothing to complain, said a person that has no expertise on headphones. These are my first headphones by the way.I purchased the product on Moday, August 25th, for $65 plus taxes, and after only 4 days, today Friday August 29th, the SAME PRODUCT price went down to incredibly $49. Because of that, I am asking refund, getting my money back, and purchasing the product again for the lowest price. As it says today $49.With the headphones in hands, I opened the package and tried them on using my personal phone. I don't know what happened but the headphones DO NOT work on my phone. The sound is completely low and sort of a robotic voice. Irritated, I tried using my personal computer and my friend's phone and it worked perfectly. Perhaps the problem is my phone, I guess.Anyways, the overall quality of the product is good. I really liked it. Just got pretty sad about it not working on my cellphone.

I have had these amazing Headphones for over 2 months and put simply they are amazing. I have had a lot of Headphones Skullcandy Sennheiser etc and I was always looking for the best sound and comfort, not to mention isolation and these are perfect solid Bass without being to heavy clear mids without shallowness and clear but soft highs. I love them they look great and they are comfortable I fall a sleep with them on they are that comfy. Ok you say what are the bad points simply NONE they are what I have been looking for for ages great headphones, comfortable, great sound. and noise isolation is great my wife cannot hear them at night when I listen to them in bed unlike other models that she has heard and told me to turn them down that bit I do not like at all so they have to be great for isolation. They do it all for me, I will not have to buy anything else until these break and I will buy another set. Sound quality is good, well balanced, not to bass heavy like typical monster/beats headsets. They're light and comfortable, and love the cyan color. Works with my Lumia windows phone.However, after seldom use and great care the auxiliary cable started to short circuit. This is a pretty typical problem of the monster headsets with the low profile jacks. My purity in-ear headset had the same problem. Since this one comes with an extra cord I thought I was fine but it's useless and only works with a few very old nokia phone. What's even more disappointing is that can't get an exact same cable anywhere, I've tried. Yes generic Aux cables will work but you will lose the windows phone controls, and none of them look like they belong with headset.Buyers should note that though the headset will work with any device the controls only work with windows phone. Using the the skip forward and back buttons is a frustrating experience as they often don't register and have to be pressed multiple times.

sound quality i n looking is nice but on the ear and no next and back controls disappointed me. it should be over the ear and with all the controls.

I am new to amazon and got the product on the exact time in which they had mentioned thanks a lot amazon . Coming to the nokia monster purity on ear headphones the built quality for its price is decent. Comfort factor is too good you can use this monster for more than 2 hours ( i tested ) Coming to the sound quality it does deliver a good balance on all the sounds you hear in a particular song . Make sure that all your songs are in good quality because it does not enhance the sound for poor quality formats. If you are nokia lumia user then please do go for these headphones as it delivers great sounds. .only negative is that some times it lags small sounds because of the unbalanced bass in a song you can correct it in your audio setting by simply turning on your audio leveling. last but not least it supports all lumia devices.
