Print on tape is very small, in my opinion, for older people you need glasses.
PRO1. Needed a hand held, battery operated, print on paper, small desk calculator. Measurements of said calcuator fitted my hand. Check!2. Give feed back from finger press of keys. The correct entry is on me. Check!3. Uses easy-to-find replacement adding machine paper and ink roller. Check!4. Has sticky glides on bottom of calculator so item doesn't slide all over my desktop. (I wax mine to shine level--very slippy) Check!5. Has just the right amount of functions which I am likely to use. Check!NEG1. Print-out is very small, but dark black. Need glasses to see!2. In my opinion, paper slot to get paper onto feed rollers is too small and difficult to get going. (I had to use my pointy finger nail file to move the paper into the slit and contact the rollers). Young fingers would probably have no problem.3. Ink roller detached in my loading of paper and got black, really black, ink all over my fingers! Best way to remove ink from all over my fingers: USE ACETONE NAIL POLISH REMOVER! Nothing else worked. I didn't have my go-to-remover of stains on carpet : LACQUER THINNER.Tax time is coming, so you need this calculator so you don't pay one cent over to the IRS

Like the size but has some things missing.
Didn't come with instructions and it would be nice if the # would light up. Other than that it is ok.

Convenient Sized 2 Color Printing Calculator - Replacement Print Head Available
I bought the Sharp EL-1611V printing calculator, which was delivered a couple of days ago by Amazon. Unlike most printing calculators, this Amazon product page did not list the replacement two color print head. A call to Amazon did not locate the print head, however, did reference the depicted listing of Sharp printing calculators. Inspection of the attached graphic will disclose the EL-1611V is not listed. I called Sharp Electronics the next day.A Sharp Electronics employee was very helpful. He initially confirmed that the printer was not yet listed among Sharp printing calculators, explaining that the EL-1611V had been discontinued. He further explained that due to popular demand, particularly from outside the US, the product was re-added to the Sharp lineup. The Sharp employee additionally indicated that the print head module was available from a wide assortment of vendors, including Amazon. He stated that the Amazon part number was IR40T. Searching Amazon for that part disclosed multiple listings including a 6 pack for $7.25 with Prime delivery.Testing of the calculator disclosed its use of algebraic logic, similar to scientific calculators I had purchased decades ago. In effect, enter a number followed by a minus and the subtracted number. Pressing the equals sign gives the difference. Not all printing calculators work in this fashion. The unit came with a small roll of paper, which was used to test the printing capabilities. The printout was large enough to read easily and negative numbers were printed in red instead of black.A metal paper holder flips out of back printer cavity for use with 2.25” paper. Threading the paper through a narrow slot in the back of the calculator and into feed slot about an inch forward positions the paper for threading (see attached illustration). Pressing the paper advance key (upper left hand key) automatically threads the paper under the print head.A 2nd key, located next to the paper advance key, together with the P/NP key (above M+) will enable or disable the printing function. The C-CE key turns the calculator on, after which it serves to clear and clear entry. An OFF key is provided to turn the calculator off. A key labeled P serves to print whatever is on the screen. Various memory keys are also included as well as two keys having to do with taxes. The LCD display is not well backlit but is easily read.If you're looking for an easy to use hand held printing calculator, this is the best one I am aware of. It is the only one that I found with the ability to print negative numbers in red. It has admittedly a limited market, although one that this product addressed well enough that the manufacturer decided to start producing it again. If you have any questions, I recommend referring them directly to Sharp Electronics USA. Both my wife and I very much like this product.

Junk for longevity.
Got temperamental with the print paper feed after 2 months. Started turning off randomly after 3 months. At 4 months turning off randomly and showing error code. Lightly used o1/2 times a week and completelyBroken at 4.5 months.

Size
Great size and very portable. I wish it had a switch to simply shut off the machine from printing. You can shut it off from printing, but I have to look at the manual to remember how lol. The design is simple which is all I needed for this calculator. Does not come with a power cord so you will need to purchase that if you don’t want to use batteries. Works well!
