Speedball 004009 Earthenware Glaze, Turquoise, 16 oz

Nice vibrant color (maybe to vibrant, but can be toned down) Easy to apply an even coat.

Applies well although a little thick but you can water it down. Great result and great for mixing with other glazes.

The colour you see in the picture is not the colour you get. And when I opened the container after shaking it, it's lumpy. It's consistent with a cottage cheese texture. Same with the other colours I ordered. I suggest buying the small 2oz sample bottles before buying the 16oz. Also, I had to water it down quite a lot so that I don't have lumps of glaze on my pottery. As for the application you can't dip, it can only be brushed. I did 4 to 6 layers for better coverage and to hide the paint brush streaks. I also waited for it to dry between coats. I can't return it because it's been longer than a month since I bought it. I might just use it up for ceramic jewellery pieces instead.

The glaze is nice and smooth but with 3 coats is a very bright orange not rust colored
