This book helps you understand our connected world, and the important part all creatures have to keep natural order. 8 year old grandchild enjoyed it as much as we did.

Great, great, GREAT book! Our whole family loves it from young to old! It's a must read for this day and age. What I hate though is that this book was hard to come by. I never saw it at book retailers and it's hardly listed on the first page of my numerous searches. I feel like this book needs to be more prevalent when searches are made for Children's books about national parks, camping, Yellowstone, and wolves because this book is important, relevant, informative, and refreshing. Love this book! A book every household library should have!

I used to read this book to students at outdoor school. I became a classroom teacher and just had to get this. It tied in very well to our 5th grade ecosystem unit. It really helps kids realize how everything is interconnected.

This book tells about the conservation efforts to reintroduce the grey wolf in to Yellowstone National Park. The pictures are beautiful and the story is engaging and educational. It is story of hope and success. I teach K-6 science and read this book to students in grades 2-6. Highly recommended.

This is a great book explaining how the presence of wolves improves the biodiversity of an ecosystem. My students loved it and wanted me to read it again and again. The illustrations are beautiful too. There is so much misinformation about wolves out there and this is a refreshing look at what biologists have learned about wolves in Yellowstone. I liked it so much that I ordered a copy for another teacher.

We bought this book after my son checked it out from the public library. It was a favorite at the time. All three of my kids love reading this book. It has wonderful illustrations, entertains, and informs.

This book is so informative and beautifully done!

This is a good book about the balance of nature. It is important that nature is balanced, but it is also important to note that man is part of nature, and the nature is only truly in balance when we can live in it safely. If there is an imbalance then nature will correct it, and often not in accordance with what we would prefer.
