Always wanted a cuckoo clock, but didn't want a really expensive and intricate clock with too many moving parts, so I opted for this version. The look of the clock is great, though it would've been perfect if it were made out of real wood, but that would've obviously ran up the price tag significantly. Performance wise - the clock was easy to set up, and keeps the time accurately. The cuckoo bird is right on time with it's song and is at an acceptable volume. Love the clock, and always put's a smile on my face every hour on the hour thanks to my cuckoo bird friend! Good value and fun to own! Very fun to

Attractive clock...keeping good time BUT cuckoo will not sync with time!!!!!

The cuckoo sound is so annoyingly slow and nothing like a traditional clock. It’s pretty, but that is the only thing we like about it. It was a lesson in reading the details more carefully before buying. It does keep accurate time though.

A few years ago I bought a cheap coo coo clock and it worked just fine. Unfortunately, I broke it when I took it off the wall. Since I can't afford a real coo coo clock I bought this one, which is the same clock I had before. It works just fine, and looks pretty nice, so if you'd like a nice coo coo clock but can't afford a real one, this is a good choice.
