Used to measure soil pH, Mixed equal parts soil and deionised water, left to settle , dipped and read. Water on its own read a 7, acid soil 6, my garden soil somewhere in between so seems to be good enough for most purposes. Colour strip comparison not great but good enough for dirt cheap and accurate enough for my purpose.

It's just PH test strips. Obviously not for high precision applications.

Review of Universal pH testing paper range 0-14 pH 5-meter strip Purchased 7th May 2020 for £4.95 This is sold by lots of different sellers on Amazon, they have simply relabelled the box with their own logo. If you used 2cm for each test you would get 250 tests from the roll which makes it good value for money. Approximately 2 pence a test. Provided you keep it stored in a dry place it should last for years. It is a simple product which does what it says on the tin. Please see the video review for information on checking that what you receive is what you expect.

Trying to measure the pH of my tropical fish tank. pH meter said 8.5, water test kit said around 8, these things stubbornly showed around 6.5. Admittedly if you waited 10 minutes then the pads gradually turned bluish indicating mild alkalinity. But 10.minutes wait is no use to anyone.

These indicator strips give very inconclusive results which are very difficult to interpret. We have just ordered basic universal indicator paper which I wish I had bought in the first place.

J'ai utilisé ces bandelettes pour la mesure du PH urinaire. Du fait de la limitation de l'échelle de mesure, de 4,5 à 9, elles offrent plus d'indications intermédiaires, tous les 0,25 entre 5,5 et 7,5, que les bandelettes qui couvrent tout le spectre de 1 à 14, tous les 0,5, et de ce fait sont plus précises. Je n'ai pas les moyens de contrôler si les résultats sont justes, ni s'ils sont reproductibles, il faudrait un appareil de laboratoire. ces bandelettes sont fabriquées en Chine, et revendues en Allemagne.

Handy to measure the hardness of the water. The container is small and compact, very easy in use. I tested the tap water in different locations and was finally able to understand whether it was hard or not...

Works nicely but readout needs good lighting

Niestety nie zmieniają się kolory przy różnych pH. Moja partia była wadliwa.
