Good item at a good price delivered. Works fine and remains firm once slid back over the pipe ends. Ours was a vertical repair as well and it clearly isn’t going anywhere ….

Good product at a very good price but there's no stop in the middle so having got the coupler onto one pipe it will slide all the way down when you try to push the second pipe into it. A wrapping of gaffer tape around the first pipe stopped it.

It’s called a slip coupler, there is not supposed to be a stop in the middle as it is meant to slip fully along a pipe then be slipped back half way over the existing pipe to make repair or coupling easier, check on you tube for how to use one or get a plumber to fit it for you!!!!!
