Does exactly what it says on the tin. Perfect for mapping out your potential pitching site and keeps the vestibule from getting muddy in the wet. No muddy tent bottom when packing away and is much easier to hose down and dry than an entire tent.

Definitely worth it.
Bought with the helm 1 tent, yes it's extra weight in your backpack but for me it's an absolute necessity to protect the main tent and give some ground protection in the vestibule area.
