Weddingstar Lucky Silver Sixpence Wedding Gift

We wanted to continue a family tradition of a six pence in the bride's shoe so we ordered this one. It comes in a pretty folder with the poem printed on it. The coin is in a small envelope inside the folder so that it won't slip out and get lost. Our daughter loves it, and I'm sure she will carry on this tradition if she and her husband have a daughter. If you are looking for something special, this is it.

I gave this to my daughter and as she read it she teared up. She was getting ready and almost forgot it but remembered right before she walked out so we slipped it in her shoe. Tradition is so special and adds that little touch to add to the specialness of the day!

Beautiful keepsake! So elegantly presented in a lovely envelope with, not only the "Something old..." poem, but the history of the giving of the sixpence. I will be giving this to my daughter-in-law-to-be next month and I know she'll love it! Also, the seller was wonderful! My package came 3 days ahead of schedule and in "mint" condition. ;-) Would highly recommend to every bride-to-be!

Just got it in the mail today and am VERY disappointed. It has a huge bend/crease in it. The quality is low. But frankly it is hard to see how it might look if it wasn't bent. It is to late to return it because the wedding is in a week.

Package arrived earlier than expected. In great condition. The envelope and sixpence are both wonderful and beautiful keepsakes that are sure to be treasured through generations.

The coin was in good condition, however I wish I could have chosen a Year.

I bought this for part of a shower gift and it was loved. It has a record included so that the bride can write down the date of her wedding, then pass it down to a daughter, and grand-daughter. Lovely gift.
