Great to stake down a Kamp-Rite Oversize Tent Cot
I picked up four of these to ground my Kamp-Rite Oversize Tent Cot (think of a combination Lawn-Chair, cot & tent) from wind. I picked this 4-pack of "Double Bull Blind Stakes" for the large large flat brace designed to "stomp" the stakes into the ground with a boot. I don't like carrying the weight of a hammer, and I typically bend normal stakes when I get in a hurry and try to set them with my body weight. I also like the fact that the The swing out doubles as a handle to pull these back out. They were longer than expected (because I went by the picture and didn't look at a measuring tape), but that shouldn't be a problem. You can't tell the scale from the photo, but these are scaled about 25-50% bigger than a normal "tent" stake. That also means that the gauge of the spiked metal end is QUITE a bit stronger than you will be expecting. I don't know that these were ever intended for "General use" as tent stake replacements, but they serve the purpose well. I was looking for an alternative to "Ground Hog Stakes" and a "Stake Puller", and this fit the bill. These stakes also feature a large loop at the top. I'm using that loop in combination with four 90mm Large Gate Aluminum Carabiner Snap-Rings. I'm using the Carabiners to go through the loop of the stake and around the metal rests (tubing about the diameter of a quarter) at the bottom of the tent cot. I didn't want to mess with nylon ties, ropes, or anything that could get wet or dirty between the stakes and the tent... so the combination of the Priomos Double Bull Blind Stakes and the Carbiners is PERFECT. Downsides? They are a couple inches longer than normal tent stakes. If I was and a rocky area, I'm not sure my boot would be enough to stamp these all the way in. Upsides? Easy to Sink (set). Easy to Pull (remove). They are so long, I'm not sure they'd "HAVE" to go all the way in. Plus, they could double as Ninja Sai's if you are attacked by mutant turtles in the field. ;-)

very good tent/blind stakes
we had a wind come up and the original stakes that came with the blind didn't hold up, the wind blew the blind over. So purchased these stakes and they are great held up when the wind came up and the blind stayed in place. try them out if you need a stronger stake for your blind or camping tent

the best ground blind stakes bar none!!!
I am an avid bowhunter hunting turkey and deer. Being able to properly stake down a blind when in heavy winds and wet weather is crucial to success. Flappy sides or blinds flying over head do not work. These are by far the most durable and effective stake. I can trust four to hold own my blind in the Nebraska prairie while waiting for a big tom turkey to come by.

Best I’ve Used
Easy to drive into the ground. Sturdy (no bending). Effective. I’ve had a blind out for 2.5 months in Ohio during some terrible winds and my blind has not budged. Took me all of 5 minutes to get setup.

Excellent replacement for cheap stakes
Replaced the weak original stakes and they work great

Replacement stakes for double bull.
I bought these for my double bull blind because the ones that came with the blind had bent and rusted over time. I can say that the design of these lends themselves to be both good and bad for the same reasons. The small diameter of the stakes are good because they go into the ground with ease most the time, but also the bad is that the small size also can bend very easy if you get any resistance in the ground from a rock or root. The built in handle is very useful for removing the stakes but also does not work to well for pushing the stakes into the ground. Overall I recommend using this style of stake because I have used tent stakes before but they can become very difficult to remove.

50 apiece is pretty rich considering
UPDATE: After one season I've already bent one of these stakes. They're definitely stronger than the thinner, more common variety, but not infinitely so. I wish these were a dollar or two cheaper to be a bit more competitive - they ARE after all just steel stakes. $2.50 apiece is pretty rich considering. That said this is the only stake I know of with the unique foot-step section and tie hook at the end, which not only do what you think they do, but also stiffen a commonly weak area for other stakes. If they were any cheaper I'd buy several packs and use the others for my tents. They're that good. As it is, I'm happy to have them for the blind...

Throw away those lousy cheap blind pegs or tent pegs and invest in these ones you will not regret it!

Sturdy and easier to push into the ground as they have a narrow diameter and a foot peg to step down on. Great price and fast shipment.
