Nice size scraper, little wobbly. This is the best size scraper I could find. Most of them run small or are to fragile. It would be perfect if it was cast from one piece. I will probably need to weld it after several years. This one is attached with screws on bottom. Little light; but not too light. I just put my foot down on circle area while wiping the other on scraper. Now; the item I received was somebody's return. The screws were completely stripped. The countersink holes were not set deep enough causing the screws sticking on the bottom and making the stand teeter totter. I would of returned the product, but I needed it now. So I countersinked the holes deeper with metal drill bit and exchanged screws, and repainted that small area. Now it sits firm. It cleans shoes great. I would probably keep it under covered area as is not made from one piece and will probably rust at screw area.

Very nice heavy duty shoe scraper, however it's hard to use. I had to get a wooden 2x6 and screwed it onto it so it wouldn't fall over our move while I was scrapping my shoe.

I really, really like this shoe scraper! It can be put someplace when Winter weather ends. The color is great (I'm not sure what patina it graduates to, but the initial color is great).It DOES have screws to put it together (two). One could probably use some sort of construction adhesive if one wanted to place it permanently on a concrete sidewalk (check a big box store for construction adhesive; I'm sure Amazon sells it as well).It is plenty wide for just about any size shoe/boot. It looks great. It is well made. Buy it!!

We love this scraper! It’s just heavy enough that it doesn’t move when we’re using it, but it’s light enough to move it if needed.

I liked it a lot. Quite sturdy and heavy. The only thing is it had no screws or holes to attach it to the floor of the porch, so it kept moving around. Not that useful for very muddy or snowy boots, since you just keep pushing the scraper away.

Nice and heavy, looks great and works perfect.

This boot scraper is too lightweight to stay in place by itself. It needs to be stabilised by placing one foot on the base and this foot then hinders the scraping action. It works better for large feet than small! Also I found the M6 countersunk machine screws supplied for assembly were much too short at barely 10mm and by the nature of the casting only 5mm or so is engaged. They tended to strip during assembly. This was amended by replacing them with stainless M6 20mm long from Screwfix. These will better withstand the scraping action too.

wife loved them for one of her Christmas presents, very strong and with the wet weather we have had they have been put to good use. A couple of fixing holes would have helped as with being cast very hard to drill, had to look through my many boxes of concrete fixing bolts to get size to go through holes in pattern.

Easy to assemble and looks good. Does the job it's meant to do as a boot scraper. Delivered early too.

It does the job but is lighter than expected and - made in China. Surely it would be cheaper to cast these in the UK as transportation costs would be significant and fuel wasting.

did the job i wanted it for but would not stand up on its own when scraping mud off so needs to be fix to floor
