Why did you pick this product vs others?: Price was the best value

This tool is easy to use and works great.

Only complaint is that it’s heavy but it makes up for it by being hardened well

Did not come with cutter as shown on two of the three photos.

Be warned it does NOT come with the cutter. The pictures are misleading

Very smooth and consistent flares. Took a little while to figure out how everything interlocks but once I figured it out it’s easy. One thing I wish was a little more distinguished are the divots that let you know when you’re exactly lined up. Sometimes it tricky to know if it’s lined up completely. Overall a great product.

Nice sturdy cutter/flaring set. And it has this handy looking sliding depth gauge. But the groove that the depth gauge slides in had a big blob of swarf that was solidified by the anodizing or whatever finishing process they applied and it wouldn't slide all the way. This was a big blob and very visible to the machinist or whoever might have glanced at this part in the factory. It took a bit of work and a broken hacksaw blade to get it out without ruining the groove. (Hint" a broken hacksaw blade can fit into the groove, teeth up, and you can tap it sideways with a hammer.) Also would have been nice if the set came with a reamer. I forgot that it didn't and now I have to go get one. Overall not what you would expect from a set that is positioned as professional grade, but it will work fine once I've done the work that they should have done.

Works very well

I used the flaring tool for ~ 20 flares and it broke . Navac Technical support answered fast and send me a new one !

I received my case without the pipe cutter, and with the opening for the flare on the other side so I will probably have to cut some pieces on it so that I can use it. Very sad for a product that costly and from a big company.
