My poor old golf umbrella finally bit the dust in the high wind and rain last week, so I looked on Amazon and found this one. In the picture it looked good and appeared sturdy, but also very good value. (a minimum of at least £10 cheaper than most others) I was very pleased with the umbrella, it looks really good, the size is about right and it feels really strong. I have yet to test it in a gale, but was sufficiently confident it would be OK I bought another for my son.

Not a brolly fan but bought one for dog walks in the rain with little wind and some sunshine, you know, when you don't want to wrap up cos its warm but you still want to go out for a walk in the rain, it has been great for that, not sure how it would cope in high winds, and not gonna find out either. no brolly should be used in high winds, that's what raincoats are for.
