I don't normally do reviews but thought this was important.My mom was struggling to eat and shakes was all she can do.She liked the taste of these shakes and it's all she wanted until she passed.Get these shakes guys there worth it.

It’s a good for those of us that cannot drink dairy, gluten free. It’s suppose to put weight on you. I don’t think it has done that me.

This is an awesome product, but the price is so high. As an adult, to maintain my weight and get the nutrients I need, I need to have 5 of these a day. One 12 pack lasts a little over 2 days (no oral food- just these). I am in the process of getting it prescribed, but if my insurance denies it I don't know what to do. There are never coupons or sales here or on their website. I have medical issues that make it impossible tonhave solid food and I am allergic to corn so this being corn free is the only reason I can have it compared to the other ones. Please offer coupons or financial aid or something. No one is buying this product for fun, we buy it because we need it.

After a car accident left my husband with a broken neck, several fractured vertabrae and a couple of cracked ribs, he spent a month in the ICU at Yale and another month at a top rehab facility. Maintaining adequate caloric intake wearing a neck brace was difficult, especially in light of the fact that his diet has been 100% organic for decades (and he has a sensitive, discerning palate). He only stopped losing weight after the folks at Gaylord Rehab introduced him to Kate Farm's products, and now -- more than a year later -- Kate Farms products are a staple in our house (any flavor or formula, as long as it's chocolate).I agree that Kate Farms products ain't cheap, but these are meal replacement drinks, and when you compare the price of a Kate Farms nutrition drink/shake (or two) to what a meal would cost, they aren't unreasonably priced:One Kate Farms Standard 1.0 Chocolate (costs $3.33, 16 gr protein, 12 gr fat, 38 gr carbs, 325 calories and 260 MG SODIUM)VSOne Big Mac (costs $3.99, 25 gr protein, 30 gr fat, 45 gr carbs, 550 calories and 1010 MG SODIUM).Except Kate Farms is healthier -- and the quality of the ingredients is out of this world.I mean it when I say that the Kate Farms drinks saved my husband's life. The Standard Chocolate 1.0 is excellent, and the Chocolate Nutrition Shake and the new Chocolate 1.4 are products that we absolutely have to keep on hand. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had heard so many wonderful things about Kate Farms and decided to try it when my GI problems got worse. I wanted a healthy nutritional drink that would provide good nutrition without the fructose and additives. I received the drink and the taste was terrible! Very chalky and cardboard tasting although I've never tasted cardboard! It was difficult to drink but I forced it down since I needed calories. About 45 minutes after drinking it, I developed severe cramping and stomach pain. I rushed to the bathroom where my endless bouts of diarrhea began after drinking Kate Farms nutritional drink. I had multiple diarrhea attacks for four straight days. Felt worse than I had ever felt. Now very weak, tired, and still without nutrition. When I attempted to return the product which was very expensive, I was told there were no returns allowed. Very disappointed in a product that does the opposite of what it should be doing. Would be excellent as part of a "colon-prep kit" for a colonoscopy. Buyer beware ... and the return policy needs to be changed since product is sealed.

Chocolate flavor was good.Unfortunately, it had a slight chalky mouthfeel and slight vitamin flavor. I’m going back to another product I liked in the past
