I wanted a little garden firepit without the hassle of chopping wood and cleaning out ashpits in the morning!. Having seen this on Amazon I had an Idea, I filled a "decorative" garden planter with compost, sunk a steel dog bowl into the centre of it and topped the compost around it with decorative stones and miniature garden ornaments. I then place 3 layers of this Ceramic wool into the bowl, added half a litre of Liquid Bio Ethanol (also found on amazon) and lit it!....Success!...Natures T.V. in the garden that danced away for about an hour with no smell, no ash, no chopping wood and an approving look from the Mrs!.. Win!.. Win! The wool even stayed white (not burnt) after the ethanol finished ready for next time. A good product that's absorbent, safe to use and extends the burn time of Liquid Bio fuel where used....A Recommended (by me) product!

This is a large pack of ceramic wool and very good value for money. I found that it does make my bioethanol burner last longer and saves fuel. It doesn’t produce any smell and is easy to use. This pack is ideal if you have a very large bioethanol burner. It might be a bit of a waste if you only have a small burner (less than 2l) as you rarely have to replace the ceramic wool. This is good quality and I would recommend it.
