Pros: easy to set up, lightweight, strong, makes for a good walking stick, pivots smoothly, telescopes nice and high for taller folks, tripod base allows the stick to remain where you left it once you've got everything lined up and sighted in, once you truly get the legs locked they don't budge.Cons: the twist locks on the legs are a little fussy and more than once I thought I had them secured until I put weight on them. The tripod base can easily get crammed full of mud.Overall: a very solid product that is a great value for the price.

This shooting stick is light, durable and it definitely stabilizes my crossbow when shooting. It also works well as a walking stick. It's footprint takes up almost no room in my one man hunting blind. I'd absolutely recommend the Vanguard shooting stick!

This is a solid shooting stick it's worked well for me it is much more stable than your standard mono pod only reason I deducted a star is because it needs a backpack strap I made my own but definitely needs one because it's heavier than you standard mono pod but just by a little bit

The addition of the three folding feet is super nice! It gets super compact and fit in the water bottle pocket of my pack I hauled it up in my tree stand and easily and quietly deployed it. The swivel is nice and smooth. The adjustments up and down could be done easily with one hand and with a weapon on it. I highly recommend this stick.

It does everything that the company says it will do. Took it out on my first hunt of the season and was able to steady my gun for the scoping of my first buck of the season. I hunt in a ground blind and that makes things challenging to hold a rifle up for a while with my bad shoulder, product adjust the the proper height, is very sturdy and swivels around to the proper place to make a good shot.

What can I say. This is the best shooting stick I have ever had. I’ve been using one of my camera tripods which still had its purpose. But, outside of needing to sit very low, a rare occasion, this shooting stick is superior. The feet are the secret along with build quality. Very impressed. I have bought four in total. Two were gifts. The other two, one is mothballed and I use the other. When I “mothball” something it’s because I fear they might stop being available. That says it all. Buy one or two. You want regret it.

I used this product to sturdy a rifle from a tree stand while deer hunting. When shooting from a distance of 200 yards and up, the equipment you choose makes a world of difference and this shooting stick is the best I have ever used. Quiet, sturdy, easily adjusted and smooth as silk movement. Also my binoculars and range finder screwed quickly to the shooting stick. Great product if your into using the best equipment you can use. Highly recommended.

It ok but wasn't what I expected for the price. Was missing the yoke at the top when I purchased it. The yoke is what holds and stabilizes your firearm when shooting. Apparently it easily falls off and is lost. I had to send back. Kinda glad I sent back. The tripod at the bottom is small and didn't seem like it would be stable enough to shoot off of on any terrain besides a concrete pad the is level. I truly believe this tripod is suited for photography not shooting. But I wouldn't know I never shot off of because the yoke was missing.
