Years before Starbucks started serving their Oleato drinks (olive-oil-infused coffee), I'd been mixing regular coffee with MCT oil after my workouts as part of my own personal Ritual of Rejuvenation. MCT oil helps your body burn fat more efficiently and is great for weight management. Mixed with coffee, it serves to give me a nice boost to my energy levels after vigorous HIIT and resistance training sessions. And unlike Oleato, one tablespoon of MCT oil dissolves well into a mug of coffee without overpowering it or turning it into an oily sludge. But the real star ingredient to my Rituals of Rejuvenation? Vega Organic Protein Powder! This stuff is just fan-freakin'-tastic! I get the French vanilla flavor and add 20 grams of it to a 10 oz mug of coffee + the aforementioned one tablespoon of MCT oil + half a cup of cold unsweetened vanilla almond milk. The result is a deliciously creamy, soothingly warm, Goldilocks-level-perfectly-sweet, highly nutritious concoction that makes my soul smile and my muscles go "Ahhhh!" Two such mugs after each workout and I've infused my body with 20 g of plant-based protein and a whole bunch of essential vitamins and minerals. Add to those two mugs a large banana and I've just had a very healthy, energy-giving meal that powers my body for the rest of the day. Each serving of Vega protein powder provides 50% of most B vitamins that your body needs every day, plus 50% of your body's recommended daily serving of vitamins C, D, & K. It's also a good source of vitamin A, Iron, and Manganese. The one downside that other reviewers have noted: Vega Organic is pricier than other protein powders out there, true. But given the high quality of ingredients, and the exceptionally expansive range of nutrients in each serving, PLUS the great taste (and total lack of chalkiness associated with many other protein powders), I'd say it's worth the higher price point. I'm a struggling artist hustling to make a living in an expensive city, but I budget my meager income to make sure I always have enough to afford this baby twice a month. That's how much I love this product and benefit from its use.

As a long time user of Vega, I do notice when I stop using it. For context, I have a morning smoothie with fruit, vega, etc most days. Recently I stopped ordering it for other reasons, and after around a week or so, definitely noticed longer to recover, and also got the flu - coincidence, maybe...but havent got had the flu for last 4 years. So, back on it. It is expensive, so do need to factor it into the budget, you do really need a blender to mix otherwise not most pleasant, and some of the flavors are odd, I just go with unsweetened and let the other ingredients add flavour. Overall, I would recommend it as part of a daily diet, particularly as a 50+ man, and athlete, it is worth the investment for me.

Best powder on the market - easy to digest and tastes great

So i this is a protein that takes some getting use to. For 3 months I’ve been eating clean which means no sugar or sugar substitutes. I don’t know if that’s why I feel this taste overwhelming sweet or what. I was using a vegan protein that was unflavored and only using banana as a sweetener. My first time using this protein I did it like I usually do with a half of a frozen banana, PBFit, and vanilla almond milk. That was way too sweet! Now I blend it with only these items you see here and with 1/2 cup of ice. It’s perfect for my post workout drink. I do love that I get every mineral, vitamin and nutrient my body needs to recover all in one. It doesn’t taste “gritty” to me maybe, that’s because I only do plant based protein for years now so I’m used to it. It’s a set weight in the volume in the canister so not sure why everyone is complaining about it not being full to the top. Its just that the canister is bigger. We are still getting the exact amount we paid for. Over all I highly recommend this protein. I do not have any stomach issues with it. I feel good after drinking it. I will continue to use it.

I have been extremely skinny my entire life and struggling with gut dysbiosis for more a few years now from candida and bacterial overgrowth. I have changed my lifestyle and eating habits drastically and have still always struggled to metabolize food efficiently. I've completely cut out alcohol, coffee, "processed" sugars, and smoking out of my life and done a lot of work to heal the lining of my gut by increasing my protein and fiber intake with natural foods. But still no matter how much food I would eat it would all just get pooped out, my body wasnt absorbing much of the nutrients and I wasnt gaining any weight. I dont typically like protein powders because they make me feel icky and groggy. Recently a nurse recommended Orgain protein powder and after reading the ingredients thought I would give the fruity loops flavor a try and my body tolerated it pretty well but it only contains protein and fiber, not really any micronutrients. So I looked on amazon for something that was similar that also met some of my vitamin and minerals needs and that's how I discovered Vega protein powder. Each serving has an excellent amount of protein, fiber, and micronutrients to boost dietary intake. What really caught my attention to Vegas protein powder is the probiotic included on the ingredients list: Bacillus subtilis. I've never heard of a protein powder containing a probiotic and immediately started googling for information. Apparently studies show this strain aids in the metabolization of nutrients and can help with weight gain. According to google this strain helps strengthen the gut barrier, helps prevent inflammation, and fights off bad bacteria among other things. Go read for yourself! So I thought I definitely need to give this a try and ordered it. It arrived overnight as promised by amazon shipping and as soon as it came in the mail I opened it and had two servings that day and a serving each day since it arrived. I've noticed that I my apatite has increased, I can eat larger meals throughout the day without having to force feed myself, my poops are noticeably smaller, and I have way more energy and concentration throughout the day. I even feel noticeably less depressed, my mood has improved drastically, and it's easier to fall asleep at night. The dr weight me at 94lbs the day before my Vega powder arrived, so I am incredibly eager to see how much I weigh next time. I personally am not particular about whether the protein is plant or animal based. I've tried plant based protein powders that made me feel just as icky as animal protein powders. This powder actually sooths my tummy in the mornings and boosts my apatite for the day. I am so grateful to have found this protein powder and highly recommend to anyone who is struggling with depression and weight gain. It is a great addition to your diet and you will not regret it. However, it may be more effective when coupled with healthy lifestyle and diet improvements. If you smoke and drink and eat junk food you are only making this product work harder for you. It is not a meal replacement, you still need to eat regular healthy sources of food as well as exercise regularly for the best results. Good luck!

One of the only proteins not pumped with fillers causing long term issues like other brands.

They changed their "Look", and they also changed the product! Consistency is waaayyy different, no longer dissolves easily, it clumps, but taste is the same! Jave been drinking this consistently for a few years...what happened?? They should be obligated to highlight ingredient changes!!

We've been taking Vega every morning for years now and love it. It's very smooth compared to the grainy texture others have. The taste is very good and the price is very good as well. We've never had a problem with getting sick with it or anything else it does really well along with the variety of items it has in it. I'll keep using this one as long as I keep making

I like this product because it is not dairy based, as so many protein drinks are. I just wish I could have ordered the chocolate flavor, but no surprise it is not available as it is the most popular. The Vanilla is fine, I drink it with almond milk which is a bit thin, but if I want it thicker I dollop soy yoghurt in it. It’s a light greenish colour, but that’s OK, it tastes fine. Sweet, but not very sweet. My only gripe is it is so expensive!

Lid came broken but seal inside was good so I need to be more careful to storage this. Tried and it seems good. If it only has what it has written in it might just be one of the best on the market. Let's see.. hopefully this was just this time
