Q: does it have battery or ac?? what is poe 802??

No it does NOT have a battery. It comes with a power supply to power it . . . . OR..... you can run it via POE. POE is Power Over Ethernet. It takes a POE type power supply (either from single unit, a switch that has POE power, or an NVR that has POE power) to feed the power to the camera over the ethernet cable. IF you use POE, then you don't use the power supply that comes with it. Do a quick search on internet for POE and that will give you a better understanding of POE and the pros and cons of using it. I find it very handy to use in some instances.

Q: Camera rated 12 volt. I have 48 volt POE how can I use this camera?

I have used with both 12v adapter for setup and poe. The specs should include normal poe voltages in spec. I spent half hour on researching those also. 48volt poe works fine for me. It was recommended also to use Cat6 or better cables. When I asked support on a network setup issue.

Q: Can this be set-up and viewed using a web browser, or is it only useable with the App?

You can directly access the camera from a web browser on a computer in the same network. To access from the internet you have to have a routed static address or use DDNS and have the ports open. You must access via the web page to set specific camera functions. These settings cannot be accessed from the APP.

Q: What is the minimum height that you can install this?

There isn’t a minimum height, the closer to the ground the easier it is to damage or destroy and the view will be from a lower point, put it 2 foot up, at 8 foot, 16 foot, 25 or even 50, wherever you want. To get the view you want.
