Completely annoying noise & highly effective.
We used them for a quiz-show type game at school. Each squealed a different sound. The children loved it and it helped the judges determine the winners.

Where is the off button
There is no off button. They are smaller than I thought but they do the job. Good sound except for the yellow button. Every other button is exciting and then you have the yellow's dry (lol) sound. There is no carrying case with the buttons. When you put them back in the box after using your own supplied batteries they make noise the whole drive since they have to tough each other to fit them back in the too-small box it came in. My games are fun though. If I needed to I would buy them again.

My boys have enjoyed using these to make up their own games. 16 buzzers, 4 for each sound. One type gives a good correct answer sound, one does a good wrong answer sound, one gives a police car sound and one sounds like an emergency vehicle. They would be great for classroom use, too.
