Excellent Soundbar from Philips
The media could not be loaded. I was reluctant to get this soundbar because of the few reviews available online and because I recently purchased two other brands (Sony then Samsung) that I didn't like and had to return. With 3.1 channels and 600 Watts this soundbar delivers a great sound quality and a powerful bass from the wireless subwoofer. It is easy to install and comes equipped with all the bells and whistles of the more expensive soundbars, such as wifi, Alexa and Google support, Spotify, and is provided with a quality built and powerful wireless subwoofer. The soundbar supports DTS:X as well as all Dolby formats including Vision and Atmos. For this to work you need to connect the soundbar to the TV using high speed HDMI 2.1 cable and adjust the TV audio to "pass through". To test Atmos I played Top Gun Maverick on Paramount+ and the sound was great with some decent Atmos effects. For a $199.00 I am quite content with this purchase. I recommend it for anyone looking for excellent audio experience at an affordable price.

Great sounding Soundbar for the Money in
I have the Phillips Sound bar 3.1 really shines watching movies. The Atmos surround is really good in my OP the sound reflects off the ceiling. The Bass is good not great but I am in a condo and thats why I did not go with the JBL soundbar which I was focused on. I would buy again for $149.99 BF deal.

For the price, it is decent if on sale...
After owning this soundbar for 3 months, it did have a lot of connectivity issues. Due to this, it required me to reboot the soundbar multiple times until it stopped skipping over audio. However, last month, Phillips dropped a new update and that fixed basically every connectivity problem I've experienced. So there's no longer any audio cutouts no matter which HDMI cord you use (I've tested this with all cords I had available) Now I can turn it on without feeling like the audio is gonna cut out soon. I must though, it's better if you use custom settings and NOT the preset settings (movie, stadium, voice, and etc), and customized the frequencies. If you prioritize where you can hear the voice clearly first, the music and sound effects can be adjusted after and you'll have the sound you are looking for or aka the best sound you can get out of this soundbar. The bass is a bit heavy where voices sound muddled, so adjusting the subwoofer and going lowest frequency that covers the bass helps there. Great for small rooms, but larger rooms, look elsewhere (I'd suggest 3.1 channel or higher for larger rooms). I bought the soundbar for my bedroom and it works well. For $200 or less (mine was around $196 after taxes), this is amazing for the price. Wouldn't pay more than $250 though let alone the $400 retail price tag.

It Sounds Much Bigger Than it Looks!
I bought this soundbar because it has DTS Play-Fi which I use as a whole house audio system. I placed it in my garage gym where I have a TV I use for exercise videos and use the play-fi music streaming when just working out. I used to have just a single play-fi speaker from Def-Tech that retails for around $399 that lacked the HDMI input I needed for the TV. I wasn't expecting much in term s of music sound quality and wow, was I surprised. This sound bar sounds huge, it just fills my rather large garage with clear, quality sound. The subwoofer took a little dialing in but blends nicely and really fills in the bottom end. Thank you Philips for such a great product, recommended.

Too complicated
Needs multiple apps. Sub woofer doesn’t connect easily. Apps are complete garbage and not user friendly. Sound is good when I get it to work. I wish I could return it and get a Sony or something else. This is just a headache.

Very incompatible
The sound quality was very good. Other than that, this product sucked. It would never turn on properly with the TV. Always had to get up and grab the sound bar remote to turn it on. Honestly just very inconvenient compared to my last sound bar. I’ll be sticking with LG or Samsung for all my soundbar needs

Good value Prime Day Deal
This soundbar replaced an older Philips 5 speaker home theater setup for a bedroom TV. Took awhile to manually program a code that allows you to control the volume up/down function from an Amazon Fire TV stick remote, but it works and sounds great.

Good Value For the Money
The soundbar's volume and depth sound great compared to the TV speakers. Setup w/my Phillips Roku TV took less than 5 minutes. The TV remote automatically pairs with the soundbar, so only one remote to deal with. No HDMI cable included, so you'll need to use your own. This is a $50 device, not a $500 home theater component ... I think you get what you pay for and this is a solid buy.
