Nice alternative to taurine based based red bull and Monster drinks
I occasionally like an alternative to coffee for an afternoon lull at work and I am a little sensitive to caffeine but only in coffee it seems, the sugar free drinks usually have a very fake sweetened taste and full sugar ones like monster have 50+ grams of sugar, these are a middle of the road choice with about 20 grams of sugar and not too much caffeine and taste really nice Imo

This isn't just a new design, it's a new taste
There is no mention, no warning per say about this new redesign change to lucozade alert, it's not just a new look, it's also a completely different taste. They've added more artificial sweetners and less sugar.Maybe a ploy to get people interested then make it cheaper and less care in the taste in the future when they have fans. Just reduce the sugar, why add anything

Not Nice. Syrupy. Stick To Lucozade Energy Original.
Despite this Alert Original having less than half the calories of Lucozade (Energy) Original it actually tastes quite sickly. It's like they've removed the nice saltiness of the original and replaced it with sugar (when there's actually less sugar). It is like a flat (less fizzy), slightly syrupy-textured, dull-tasting, sickly version of (Original) Lucozade Energy.Despite mentioning niacin (B3), the amount is the same as in 'Energy Original'. 'Energy' contains 12mg/100ml caffeine, and Alert has 32mg, the same as a coffee, but I didn't notice it.It's an inferior product to the original - stick to the original.
