And buy a new TV and therefore my current DVD player didn’t hook up to it any longer. I found this adapter and it worked wonderfully.. I was a little apprehensive because I’m not tech savvy, just setting up the TV was a challenge. But I follow the directions and had no problems. I’ve already been able to access my DVD player for my exercise videos. I’m very happy.

This was pretty easy to set up, the only thing I didn't realize at first is that it had to also be connected to a power source. Somehow I overlooked that, although I read the directions. All the need cords were included, we just plugged the power into the sound bar. Works fine with an old JVC dvd/vhs player connected to a new Samsung tv.

I never in a million years expected this converter to successfully connect my new fangled smart 4K TV to an inexpensive portable DVD player that doesn’t play Blu-ray Discs or have an HDMI port (DBPOWER 11.5" Portable DVD... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AW30BIK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share). But as you can see from the photo, it works just as advertised - audio and video! It’s rare I ever wanna watch a DVD, but when I do, I wanna watch it on my big screen TV :). So unfortunately this was not how I thought it would be. I thought you could just plug it in like the yellow audio cord I have but it's not. The converter box has to be plugged into the wall to work, which it doesnt even come with a plug in device! So u have to buy a separate charge cord and charge box for it and I ave multiple rgmhs already plugged in behind my entertainment center and I didnt have any plug holes left for this item... I would recommend getting a box of multiple converters in one so u only have to plug 1 box in.

Bought this so I could use my Nintendo Wii again with my new flat screen. So glad this works and that new technology hasn't rendered my Wii useless.

Works great brought old WII out of storage and works perfect.

Used the devise to interface it with my security camera recorder to work on a HDMI TV port.
