Fantastic upgrade and brilliant for the price

Never heard of Polk before until I started looking for a new soundbar to match the new TV we bought. Since then I've seen a few reviews about their other soundbars punching above their weight for the price and then heard about this being released, a new Dolby Atmos soundbar for a great price. While there was little to no reviews, I decided to pick one up as an upgrade to my LG SN4 2.1 soundbar which I will be comparing it to. Lots of great features Inc HDMI 2.1, E-ARC, voice boost & plug and play. So far watched some Dolby experience videos and a few movies in Dolby Vision and Atmos and so far the sound is very impressive. Much deeper bass than my previous one and sounds are much richer with the voice boost really enhancing voice volume against action scenes etc. I can't say that I can hear planes or helicopters flying overhead exactly, but the surround sound felt much more comprehensive and fuller than my previous soundbar. My wife said it sounds like being in the cinema and for a £330 soundbar with Atmos and upfiring speakers is high praise. so far the only let down is a very short pause in audio (under 1 second) when resuming after pausing but that could easily be due to the TV rather than soundbar and my previous one had a led screen to show you volume and output etc whereas this one does not. Still I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend for the price. While its the 1st Atmos soundbar I've owned, I still suspect I would have to pay at least double for any significant improvement and for a proper Atmos soundbar with upfiring speakers this feels like great value for the money.

Reasonable for the price

Had been looking for a soundbar and wireless sub for a while as the internal speakers on an OLED aren't great. Happened upon the Polk system for a good price so worth a try. I had been looking at the Sonos Beam which is a bit chunkier and settled for the Polk as it looked a little more slimline. Looks-wise it's unobtrusive and the wireless sub doesn't make itself stand out. I didn't have an Atmos system to compare to but the few films I have watched with it so far have been nice and clear with good bass. The Bluetooth for music does ok, it does seem a bit tinny and confined at lower volumes but when cranked up a bit it opens up a lot more and is a bit more balanced though need to tweak the bass a bit for music. Depending on the type of music you're into it may be a bit lacking as a Bluetooth speaker, my homepod mini performs better with most of the music I like, rock/metal

Amazing!!

The media could not be loaded. So guys, this Soundbar It worth the money 100!! I bought it "used like new" and honestly, there is no any difference between the new one and this. I can't see any scratches, dents...nothing on him. Same warranty like a brand new. Only the package wasn't in good condition but from this point of view, don't care :)So, the sound is very nice and worm, nice strong and deep bass and different preseted modes of how you want to listen: Movies, Music or.. Night mode :)Soo good quality of the materials, very premium I could say.I would recommend 100%, very satisfied about my new acquisition! :)

Works with my LG TV and Bluetooth devices

I bought this primarily for use with my TV. It was easy to connect and setup. The sound quality is much better than my TV and it also allows some adjustment to different frequencies depending on what you are listening to. This in particular has made it worthwhile as I can now make out dialogue from the TV that was previously muffled to me. The bass speaker is easily adjustable to roll off some bass if it's a bit much in movies or music. Using Bluetooth I have connected my phone and also an Amazon echo to stream music and this works well and has great volume if you want to show the teenagers in the family what it's like to have loud music blaring when you're trying to sleep. Although you'll have to do that at 10 am instead of 10 pm😁.

So so

The quality of the sound bar out of the box is fantastic, it's super easy to set up and you'll be listening within minutes. The sub and the bar connect pretty much straight away as soon as they're both turned on.For general TV it's pretty good, voices are nice and clear, surround sound is decoded well, so while it's not spatial you can hear everything. The bass is pretty subtle, there's no real power too it, you get a fuller sound but that's about it. My living room is quite big though so I'm wondering if it's just getting lost? For gaming I set my ps5 to atmos and the bar recognised it straight away but to be honest I didn't really notice anything at all. Tried a couple of films etc but no, nothing. During gaming the sound was muddy, I don't know why this is, sounds completely different to when you're just watching TV.Overall, bit disappointed to be honest. I've returned it because it's just not good for my use.

Impressive sound without breaking the bank.

The Polk Audio Signa S4 offers excellent value for its price point, delivering decent sound quality that elevates the home viewing experience. While the subwoofer may not satisfy those seeking intense bass, the system as a whole is a solid choice for anyone looking to enhance their audio setup without breaking the bank.I'm a big fan of the different preset modes you can choose from on the controller, allows you to quickly adjust settings based on what you're currently listening to. The sub seems like wasted opportunity and no I don't even see a point using it, hence the 4 stars.

Incredible Soundbar For The Money!

My son in law purchased one a few months ago and I was very impressed with it so I decided to get one too.It actually has upfiring Dolby atmos speakers which you can really appreciate (unlike some that use a digital way to create sound) comes with wireless sub woofer which really packs a bass punch. Hand control is small but adequate giving choices of different pre set sounds. I would highly recommend this sound bar.
