Easier than you think.
We've been considering a pasta maker for sometime but weren't sure what to get. I have a friend whose family is from Italy and so I asked her what they use. This is the make and model they use but theirs is decades old and still makes fantastic pasta. I also got it because I can use it for puff pastry. I like the flexibility of the pasta maker. It does take some practice to do it solo but having help just adds to the fun. As for cleaning, the instructions are very clear to not use soap and water. When mine got gummy because my pasta dough was too wet, I used a piece of bread like the instructions suggest to clear it out an it worked great. We have now cut way back on buying pre-made pasta. I was originally under the impression that you had to let your pasta dry before using it but I now know that is NOT true. You can make it, cook it 3-4 minutes and eat it so using the pasta maker doesn't require a lot of preplanning. So get one have have fun. Our grandkids liked using it too.

Best purchase ever.
This is a great machine. It cut it pasta/noodles prep time from an hour plus to 15 min. Operates super smoothly, cuts the dough like butter, nothing sticks as long as the dough is right consistency. The dough roller is also amazing and has 9 options for thickness.I bought initially spaghetti attachment but the one that came with the machine (I think it’s fettuccine + capellini) worked great. Capellini is thinner than spaghetti but my son loved it so I returned spaghetti attachment. One thing to mention is that my kitchen table is pretty thick and I could not secure the machine so needed help when rolling the dough.Cleaning was also easy - I used a brush. The machine is really wonderful, if you like homemade pasta, just buy it.

I love this machine 5 stars
Very impressed with the ease of making pasta in this machine plus it allows you to mount a motor on it when you get to know the trade of making pasta and they sell attachments so all around very happy with my purchase!
