Well, I've used charcoal pencils before but these are soooo silky. I really like them in comparison to what I've used prior. They blend much better. The watercolor pencils will be interesting to experiment with, I haven't used those before. There are a couple of tools included that I've never used before, so I'll need to research how to use them but am excited to see my skills already improving since I purchased this.

Awesome set
My granddaughter is learning colors and trying to draw figures. She always loved to color in her coloring books. Her eyes lit up when she opened this set. She is using this instrument on a daily basis. She looks forward to using her easel to draw and this set to color.
