I do like this saw , it’s lite and cuts very well . My only complaint is the lever to adjust blade height is cheap plastic and fails miserably . It seems to be holding for now but if it persists I will send it back

Heavy and Inexpensive
Ok…. Here’s the deal. Take it from a retired home builder who’s been thru several circular saws, you do not want to take this one to work. It’s just too heavy. I also don’t think that some of the plastic parts like the bevel and height locks will stand up to every day use. Let’s face it. You’re going to drop it off the roof and then what? But for the occasional deck or home carpentry projects, it’s fine. First of all, it’s cheap. You’re not going to find another name brand 15 amp, corded circular saw spinning at 5,600 rpm for under $100.But, I bought it for one very specific reason. After some 45 years, my Delta radial arm finally packed it in. I still do occasional book shelves and entertainment centers for friends and family and need something to rip with. Didn’t really want to spend $500 for a table saw (all of which have too small a table and too short a fence), so decided to bolt this puppy underneath a half sheet of 3/4” Advantech sub flooring. So, for around $170 I have the perfect solution. The extra weight is a plus for this application. I clamp my 6’ level to it for a fence and can handle full sheets of plywood by myself.Oh…. and a “rafter hook”? What’s that all about? Whatever.May 28, 2024. So much for cheap. It’s now $129. Go ahead and get the Dewalt if you need it now.MARCH 10, 2025. $72 BUCKS TODAY! BUY IT NOW! HA.

Nice saw
Had to fine tune the screw for angle adjuster using speed square but should always do that with a new saw and some don't have adjuster screw. No complaints great saw.

VERY NICE SAW - IT MAY BE A LITTLE HEAVIER THAN YOU MAY LIKEAND IT ALSO COMES WITH A BLADE. THE PICTURE SHOWS IT WITHOUT A BLADE.I THINK IT'S A GOOD BUY ESPECIALLY FOR A BOSCH.
