This item is brilliant. We are moving and the fridge has gone to the new property. So I bought this for the beer and milk and other bits . I didn't think it would work as well as does it's fantastic . Takes about 2 hours to get to the right temperature think it's about -8 keeps everything super cold love it

We really enjoyed our last UK holiday on the Isle of Wight with this cool box. It kept our lunch and drinks chilled on the journey and acted as our portable fridge when we plugged it in mains electricity at our Premier Inn.All was going well until the return journey home to Cornwall. Our instructions say you need to unplug the car charging socket every time you stop and switch the engine off. You should only plug the Coolbox into the cigarette socket once the engine is running. The constant plugging in / unplugging - wore the plug socket out and it fell apart after 3 weeks use.We need to contact Amazon for a replacement 12v socket. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star Star Reviea

Verry good for road trips and camping. The only inconvenient is that is if you dont have ice packs is not keeping cold enough.

Looks nice every thing else rubbish ,you may as well buy a cool-bag and ice blocks We took it on our first weekend away, it did not keep things cool ,the air that was supposed to keep food cool just was not right.now i cant send it back as my returns date had passed,i was bought it a couple of months ago,but because of me being shielded until the 01/08, i had no chance of testing it under camping conditions,

I've only tried the cooler on the child but it's brilliant when we go shopping and going out

I do like this cool box, but it does have a few downsides. Firstly, it worked perfectly when tested at home, but when we took it away with us it failed to keep the food cold enough because the room temperature was too warm. This meant we had to throw out all of our food and it became quite useless. As a general coolbox, it is great and if used in a room where the temperature isn’t too warm, then it does the job. Second, it leaks water over everything every time you open the box and the wire is always in the way! Third, the handle is too short. Really it isn’t a bad product, but I do think there are a few things that it lacks and probably wouldn’t recommend it for those reasons.

Bought this for when our fridge broke down and we had to wait for insurance to agree replacement. Will be using it for picnics etc, so it won't be going to waste. There are only two things that were slightly annoying about it: you have to pull out the lead to open the lid, and it gets very wet inside at the bottom, so cardboard containers get soggy. This is why I deducted a star.
